Obviously he supports it for procreation, you know the whole "go forth and be fruitful" thing, but does he ever support it as a form of entertainment? It seems so flawed that something like sex is holy if it is. Sex is an abomination that has consumed humanity, broken down souls and minds, destroyed morals, and humans underestimate its power.

To me, this is how sex should work: it should be like an Advil. Its desired affect is to clear away pain (in other words, produce offspring), but it also makes you tired (you need to submit to your impulsive desires.)

Proverbs 5:18,19 counsels men to find pleasure with their wives.... "rejoice with the wife of your youth ... with HER love may you be in an ecstasy constantly." ..., and not waste their time with "foreign" women.
Sex is to be limited to married couples but not limited, clearly, to procreation alone.

Sex is an abomination? I could see saying that promiscuity is wrong because it breaks up families, spreads diseases, etc.... But Sex Is An Abomination? Nowhere will you find THAT backed up in the Bible....
Why is it people go from one extreme to another and never take a unbiased look at things. If Sex were an Abomination, then how in the world did the Song of Solomon get put in the Bible as INSPIRED BY GOD????

Wow!
Gee, lad, sir, or retired small-town librarian whose only true love left her at the altar in 1933, I have no idea where in the bible the Christian god supports sex as a recreation. Probably doesn't, the men who wrote the bible seemed to be scared witless of women. In any case, the god you speak of is no more than a myth, an invisible voyeur in the sky whose greatest pleasure seems to be watching, from on high, teenage boys in godforsaken Iowa touching themselves, and dispatches them to a fictional hell as his award.

Maybe as a form of stress reduction.
I'm sure God had other things on his mind besides the sex life of a bunch of sinners as we all are suposed to be.

I remember Paul instructing Married Couples to have sex so they won't fall into sin.
Also, the entire Song of Solomon.

God meant the gift of sex to be between a husband and his wife. It was to be a special blessing to make their love for each other stronger.

Chances are, if it's something fun, the Bible doesn't support it.
As for all the damages sex has done, that's only because it's been misused, just like just about anything else can be.

Given the repeated condemnations of fornication and adultery found in the Bible, it's pretty clear that sex outside of marriage is not supported in any way.

Sex is recreational because if it would hurt, there wouldn't be many children, and the species goes extinct. Even if your god exists, he couldn't have meant that to happen.

Songs of Solomon. You need to read it. Sex between a man and his wife is holy AND fun. God made it.
Of course, in the New Testament, Paul advises that it is better to marry than to burn. In other words, satisfy your sexual needs the right way. This applies equally to males and females.
