I asked a question about science. One of the people responded by saying that he reads science magazines daily for a good laugh. What an exciting life that person must lead. That would be like me saying I read the Bible daily just for a good laugh. All my friends are Christians and have absolutely no problem what so ever with the fact that I am an atheist. In fact, they could care less. And the fact that they are Christians doesn't bother me in the least. We get along perfectly. How come we are able to accept each others beliefs but every other atheist and Christians seems to think making fun of each other is the way to make the world a better place. Are we just freaks of nature???

I'm sorry that person was so rude. The fact that you and your friends can respect each other's beliefs is awesome, though as a Christian I hope they are a little concerned about where your soul is headed.

No you're not freaks of nature. some people just get their kicks out of putting others down.

Why are you using ONE isolated case to make a generalization? Let us even say there are 100 such cases that YOU know about. That is still a very small percentage of Christians.

Christians have no problems with science : we use computers, electricity (hydro, nuclear, fossil fuel, wind, geothermal, etc, as the source), genetic engineering for better crops and more milk production, communication satellites, medicines, X-ray machines and isotope tracing, etc. We do have a BIG problem, though, when philosophy is forced down our throats as science, as in the case of macroevolution.

By making fun of Christians, you add to the problem. And yes, you are freaks of nature. We must stand together and make it so that people can get along.

Only the truly stupid person makes fun of science, because it's science that gives us the quality of life and health that we have in the 21st century. Whether they like it or not. If they want to walk their talk, they should go live like stone age man and see how they like it.

i do no longer make relaxing of technological information. i like to learn the findings of the medical community. they simply component out the attractiveness of His artwork. yet people who make untimely conclusions in an attempt to justify their own misguided concept device is an entire diverse ball activity. I doubt conscientious scientists delight in the way their artwork is being utilized by people who prefer to discredit God. You ask for information. And while a Christian tries to point you to that fact, you swap magnificent around and head faraway from what they're asserting, in no way even pondering their words. do you pick for information of the particular international? turn to technological information. in case you pick for information of the spirit you're able to look interior the suitable place.
