Matt. 27:46: And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

John 20:17: Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, 'I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'"

That is stupid are you saying penguins didn't co-exist with humans in the bible because they weren't mentioned? or maybe a cricket didn't either.

Thats like saying since every human in the world wasn't mentioned in those times they didn't exist.

reptiles continue to grow until they die they have no fixed length of how big they can grow. Now, if adam could live to be 900+ years old maybe reptiles could live to be 300 years old that would mean they got Really big maybe a dinosaur is just an over grown cousin of the alligator.

No religious belief intentioned, just how can you make an arguement from something you don't believe in?

Only to whom this question concerns. ( the people who keep saying why weren't dinosaurs mentioned in the bible if it is real)

Many modern christians say they shouldnt follow the old testament, that only the new applies.

MATTHEW 7:12. is the Golden rule, you know the one, do unto others as you would have them do unto you..that one.

prohibiting gay marriage- do you want us to prohibit straight marriage? With this NEW TESTAMENT way of thinking, you are asking homosexuals to prohibit your marriage, as you prohibit our marriage.

Condemn people to hell- Well, i guess you tell us our beliefs are wrong and we are going to hell, then you cant get after us for telling us you are wrong afterall.

killing people in the name of god- Well then, i guess we get to kill people in the belief of god then!

if the new testament still applies, and this is the main rule of the new testament...christians sure in heck arent following it very well. Any thoughts?

If God is a perfect being, then the universe he created must be perfect, therefore he would change nothing.
Also anything changed would affect something else, etc. etc. therefore he would change nothing. So why pray for something to happen? It will or it wont according to Gods original perfect design.
No quotes from the Bible please. And I understand its also about giving thanks by the way. No offence meant..

I just saw B.J. Thomas in concert over the labor day weekend and was wondering if any of you have heard his Gospel music? B.J.'s songs are so positive anyway, but when he did the gospel songs, they were fantastic! Have any of you heard his gospel music and also, what is the best shopping site to order CD's from?

If Yeshua ben Yoseph translates to Joshua son of Joseph does that mean that the real name that brings about salvation is Joshua and not Jesus? So does that mean that name we should seek for our salvation is Joshua Christ instead of Jesus Christ? This question is due in part to this question right here:

I find it extremely annoying that many Christians have decided to ignore some things in the Bible and fully support other things. For example, one person may support the story of Adam and Eve, but reject the belief that the world is only six-thousand years old. They may accept that humans and dinosaurs did NOT co-exist, but still believe in Noah's Ark.

Science has been poking holes in the Bible for years now, but all Christians do, instead of accepting the Bible as a false source of information, is ignore something, or claim you "have to read between the lines". Or that it can't be taken literally.

How many times are you going to change your beliefs before you become aware that the Bible is as fictional as Harry Potter?

I think either people need to stick with being delusional and believing fully and completely in the Bible, or regard it as nothing more than an interesting piece of literature--something to teach of morals and ethics, but not as a true account.

So are you presenting yourselves as Hypocrites or Loving folks?

I have never called anyone on this site a derogatory name, never insulted a person or wished any harm, I have stated my beliefs as a Christian as a follower of Current Events and Prophecy and the Unexplained, and only attacked a non belief system, yet from atheists i have been called an idiot stupid moron, the list is enldess from a group of people that say they love humanity?HMMMmm???
Maybe the love humanity that are just not the ones they think are fundies....
You are a GREAT REPRESENTATION why Athesim will never grow in the USA, and why President Bush mistakes and all was greeted with such love and respect this Labor Day in Iraq with the US Marine Corp
I know I am a sinncer I know that I can be like you Atheists that can be intolerant, but tolerance comes from GOD through prayer.. You
don't owe me an apology because I am not your judge GOD is..
Now do you understand the difference between a believer?

On the one hand, I can see how facing the thought of your own demise might be considered "hard".

On the other hand, to come up with a weird excuse that fits your version of scripture contradiction or belief system that does not fit anywhere in the realm of truth, and then convince yourself it is true; now that must be hard as well!

I just wonder which is harder to do?

Basically... I believe in God. I really do. And i want to believe in good. And i know he exists. Summary= I believe in God/Know he exists

The only problem is every once in a while I start thinking these random thoughts (that i don't want) about "what if God doesn't exist?" or "does heaven really exist?" or "God doesn't seem like he is helping me" or "what if when i die nothing happens...its just done" and/or many other things

What i am trying to say is that I do believe in God.... Know he exists.... And want to completely believe in God..... But i feel guilty about all these random thoughts even though i know i don't believe them....

Can you help me get rid of these thoughts/Is it a problem/a sin that I am having these uncontrollable thoughts every once in a while?

TY
