So are you presenting yourselves as Hypocrites or Loving folks?

I have never called anyone on this site a derogatory name, never insulted a person or wished any harm, I have stated my beliefs as a Christian as a follower of Current Events and Prophecy and the Unexplained, and only attacked a non belief system, yet from atheists i have been called an idiot stupid moron, the list is enldess from a group of people that say they love humanity?HMMMmm???
Maybe the love humanity that are just not the ones they think are fundies....
You are a GREAT REPRESENTATION why Athesim will never grow in the USA, and why President Bush mistakes and all was greeted with such love and respect this Labor Day in Iraq with the US Marine Corp
I know I am a sinncer I know that I can be like you Atheists that can be intolerant, but tolerance comes from GOD through prayer.. You
don't owe me an apology because I am not your judge GOD is..
Now do you understand the difference between a believer?

Just be quiet. You're always on here with your depressing, dispiriting vision of the world asking us to join you. You are constantly judging and condemning non-Christians and demanding that we justify ourselves to YOU, whom you hold to be unquestioningly right. But your arguments are monumentally hollow. You get on our nerves with your endless depressing rants. I have no idea what is in it for you. But none of us claims to have the patience of saints. The difference between a believer (and a non-believer, presumably) is that the non-believer LEAVES EVERYONE ELSE IN PEACE!

If you don't know the basics about the leader of your own faith, you probably deserve to be called a few names. You had your chance to rectify your ignorance. Now just do something about it.

Well, a few points to make on this fire-and-brimstone-type sermon....for one, I hardly call anyone any sort of derogatory name, never insulted a person or wished them harm, and I'm an Atheist. I have stated my beliefs as an Atheist and as a person of science and logic (as much as I can understand of the two) and I have been attacked (By CHRISTIANS) and been called an idiot, stupid, moron, and we cannot forget all the wonderful fire and brimstone sermons I hear from Christians (and any religion) time and time out from people who claim they love humanity....and I take into offense how you group all of us Atheists into a pile of sleazebag idiots who go around and troll all over the place, and sorry sister, but a LOT more Christan's do that around the world than Atheists do. And what does "You are a GREAT REPRESENTATION why Atheism will never grow in the USA, and why President Bush mistakes and all was greeted with such love and respect this Labor Day in Iraq with the US Marine Corp " have to do with anything in this sermon of yours? And I know I can be a bad person and I k now that I can be like you Christians, (sometimes, but I'm not really intolerant against anything except ignorance) BUT tolerance comes from within, not a god. You don't owe me an apology because I'm not your judge, your conscience is...
Now do you understand the difference between a believer in Christianity and a relatively good person?

Contrast this with Christians that answer questions with "Burn" or "Atheism is a belief". The answers is basically we are all, both atheists and Christians, individuals. We all have our good and bad days and we all have our standards of what is right. There are several other factors as well, such as many of the participants on Y!A are younger and often use insult as a form of argument. Edit: To second the "VT" thing, I use "AM" for atheist mafia, because Christians called us an Atheist Mafia for reporting her Questions, however most of us are very sincere about only reporting actual violations, and do not stoop to reporting opposing viewpoints like what was going on yesterday with Yule questions.

Not particularly.

About tolerance... some of the original colonies that eventually made up the USA were refugees from places where they did not receive religious tolerance... and when they got to the New World, they didn't practice tolerance. Read "The Scarlet Letter" and read about the Salem witch trials. Read about the Crusades. Intolerance comes from believers.

Crimmsonandclover,
I have been cursed, mocked, called names by atheists and anti-christians.
I have many times ask the atheists and anti-christians to read their own posts or answers to see who was intolerant and rude.
I have been in R&S a long time and they have shown how they are 100% PC tolerant to those they approve and rude and mocking to those they hate.Intolerance to christianity is proof they are not 100% tolerant.

Yahoo Answers is not a representation of ANY group as a whole. Sincerity is rare and the anonymity of the Internet only lends itself to the degradation of maturity and influx of facetiousness. I find it rather ignorant to sample an internet forum as your basis for a comparable sampling.

Amen! How many times do they have to read this? You put it just right. If they are a representation of what atheism is, as I've said before, then I am glad I am on God's side of the fence! And yet if a CHRISTIAN, like now, calls them on their rudeness, we are being judgmental. Keep witnessing, keep praying for their hearts to melt, and that someday, for their sake they get to know what the love of the Lord is!

i beg to differ, you have insulted many. and seeing as u just claimed you havent, that would be a lie, yet another form of a sin. and in that your being a hypocrite.

but im sure u will close ur eyes and ignore the truth anyway...

btw do u know what a hypocrite is? would u care to explain how an atheist is a hypocrite by insulting someone? in order for him/her to be a hypocrite she would have to say that he/she does not do this for various reasons. that it is bad to do. THEN she would be a hypocrite.

pleeeeeeeease stop, if u dont understand something dont pretend u do!

Can't you feel the love? Some of the Athiests never admit anything. I would say, just don't stoop to the name calling that some of them seem so good at. It makes you wonder.
