I don't think that making up those "weird excuses" is very difficult for them. I'd have to say that facing the truth and dealing with reality are the hardest things for them to do. I mean come on...... dead guys coming back from the grave... walking on water.... a zoo in a boat.... seriously, they've either got overactive imaginations or an endless supply of crack cocaine!

we don't ought to rationalize. He did no longer fulfull the prophecies (with because of the fact of Mark S): · * The Sanhedrin would be re-familiar (Isaiah a million:26) * as quickly as he's King, leaders of different international locations will seem to him for preparation. (Isaiah 2:4) * the full international will worship the single God of Israel (Isaiah 2:17) * he would be descended from King David (Isaiah 11:a million) by King Solomon (a million Chron. 22:8-10) * The Moshiach would be a guy of this international, an observant Jew with "worry of God" (Isaiah 11:2) *****In different words - this ought to all be carried out in a human lifetime***** * Evil and tyranny won't have the skill to stand earlier his management (Isaiah 11:4) * expertise of God will fill the international (Isaiah 11:9) * he will contain and entice human beings from all cultures and international locations (Isaiah 11:10) * All Israelites would be decrease back to their fatherland (Isaiah 11:12) * loss of existence would be swallowed up perpetually (Isaiah 25:8) * there'll be not greater starvation or ailment, and loss of existence will give up (Isaiah 25:8) * each and all the ineffective will upward push lower back (Isaiah 26:19) * The Jewish human beings will journey eternal excitement and gladness (Isaiah fifty one:11) * he would be a messenger of peace (Isaiah fifty two:7) * international locations will finally end up recognizing the wrongs they did to Israel (Isaiah fifty two:13-fifty 3:5) * The peoples of the international will turn to the Jews for religious preparation (Zechariah 8:23) * The ruined cities of Israel would be restored (Ezekiel sixteen:fifty 5) * weapons of conflict would be destroyed (Ezekiel 39:9) * The Temple would be rebuilt (Ezekiel 40) resuming many of the suspended mitzvot * he will then appropriate the finished international to serve God at the same time (Zephaniah 3:9) * Jews will understand the Torah without learn (Jeremiah 31:33) * he will supply you each and all the needs of your coronary heart (Psalms 37:4) * he will take the barren land and make it important and fruitful (Isaiah fifty one:3, Amos 9:13-15, Ezekiel 36:29-30, Isaiah 11:6-9). Secondly, Isaiah fifty 3 makes appropriate experience in case you examine Isaiah fifty two first. he's speaking approximately Israel. Do you often initiate on the 2nd financial disaster of a e book once you examine?

I'd guess facing the truth that God is real must be too difficult (or too difficult a concept to grasp), and that's why so many choose to live in blissful ignorance. Obviously coming up with insulting, no-brainer questions is very easy though.
Psalm 53:1 -- The fool says in his heart, "There is no God."
They are corrupt, and their ways are vile; there is no one who does good.

You know after being there and doing that. I thought that belief in nothing would be harder than it is. yet I find a strange comfort in knowing when I close my eyes one last time, that will be it. I will not have to worry anymore.

Sorry, I'm too deluded to answer this question. I wouldn't know the right answer and I'd just have to come up with some weird rationalization anyway.

You mean the truth that our life will end? You think I am afraid of death? Frequently I greatly wish for it. Just yesterday I was suicidal for a little bit.
God is a real being to me, not some imaginary crutch to be used as a cop-out when I am afraid.
