In the interest of not embarrassing anyone, I won't give examples. May I suggest instead that you simply scan the page for examples?

With all the pressure to beleive in God, and to follow the crowd, and to "FEAR" God, I'm sorry, but I've started to hate Christians. You all seriously need to stop forcing your beliefs on people, and let them make their own choices! Religion is a dang buisness. That's all there is to it. It's a way to generate money, and I HATE IT. So now, you can hate me for not agreeing with you! Any thoughts? Be as mean as you want, doesn't bother me none.

He could have made the tides move on their own, so what is the symbolism of having a Moon? Light in a dark place? Even when it is dark, there is still a reflection of the Son?

Chew on it, and let me know what ya'll think.

I know this is totally the "wrong section" for this question, but no one answered this when I posted it in two different computer sections. (I'm hoping maybe some of my contacts from this section will answer. :-) )

If I get a blog on Wordpress.com, will my username automatically be part of the website name?

(I really want to know, because that will affect what I pick for my username.)

Also, can anyone suggest a good name for a Christian blog? Something short that also expresses the fact that I love God.

Thanks!

I'm a Christian and have heard other Christians say this but I have never heard an atheist say that they are divine.

In fact, if someone did think they were God, wouldn't that automatically make them a theist?

Suppose there were ten identical balls differing only in color placed before humanity, and everyone was to choose only one of those balls. In making the decision friends and family encouraged one another to choose a specific ball. Finally, everyone has made their choice. Jesus there after comes soaring down through the clouds!
Jesus said, “All who chose the blue color ball come and stand on the left, and the rest of you on the right!” “All of you who stand on the left go to heaven, and those on the right go to hell!”
The ones on the right are infuriated and asks, “Why is that you send us to hell?”
Jesus replies, “I gave you the power of choice, so it is not I who send you to hell, it is you who send yourselves to hell through your own free-will!”

for those who do believe that we can lose our salvation, please give me scripture to back this up, and also if we can lose our salvation- then it is not Jesus only, is it? Granted salvation does not give us license to sin, that would be cheap grace, and it is not cheap- it cost our Jesus His life. However if we could lose our salvation every time we might sin, and then not repent before we die- this would mean to me, Jesus died for nothing.

Then why did he make humans so capable of error and imperfections? Don't give me this "free will" crap either -why would God set people up to essentially fail? Because there isn't a single human on this Earth who has NOT "sinned".

Consider 1 John 3:9:

1 John 3:9 (Amplified Bible)

9No one born (begotten) of God [deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin, for God's nature abides in him [His principle of life, the divine sperm, remains permanently within him]; and he cannot practice sinning because he is born (begotten) of God.

1 John 3:9 (New International Version)

9No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.

1 John 3:9 (New American Standard Bible)

9No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

If they believe their doctrine can be used a legal justification for banning gay marriage and abortion, then shouldn't things like worshipping other gods and watching sinful tv programs also be made illegal as well because a sin is a sin and unbelief is supposed to be the only unforgivable sin.

Check out my Q why do some christians believe in a 4.5 million year old earth full of evolution, and other christians believe in a earth that is only 6000 years old according to the book. Now this is a silly wish but you christians need to get in the same ball-park then you can work on getting on the same team. Or just have another holy war and the winner gets to write the new testiment.
