didn't u ask ur self why the sun -every day- rise from the east & set from the west?why it didn't ever one day -by coincidence too- raise from the nourth &set from the south (4ex) ?,,,why all the embryos that borns have 2eyes in the face in the same place (by coincidece?!) & have 2 arms in thier bodies &2 legs ? why they all hear with thier ears (coincidence?)...
u know for sure that the planets goes around the sun accurately no 1 clashed the other from millions of years ago (coincidence?!)
& u know that the distance between the earth & the sun is definited if earth get approch from the sun 20 centimeters only we will burn &if it get far the same destance we will freeze -what is this sesitivity?-and then u say by coincedence???!!! the evideces are so much but to whom looks at god's creatures and think with his mind???

"This question to atheits who believe that this whole world came by coincidence?"

Didn't take you long to screw that up, did it?

I'd ask if you were kidding, but given your spelling, it's pretty clear that you were serious with this collection of inanities, falsehoods, and illogic.

The Sun does not rise up from the East (disputable, depends on relative view) by accident. It (or rather, the Earth) is following the rules of gravity, and from what we have observed about gravity we can safely assume that it will follow the same pattern, although if it does rise from the North or some other direction one day, the theory of gravitational forces pulling planets into orbit around celestial bodies such as the Sun will be discarded and new explanations will be sought out.

All your arguments are fallacious. True, there was an element of chance involved in the formation of the Earth, but considering the millions of planets known to have been formed, the chances don't seem so astronomical (it's like throwing a die a million times and being surprised that it landed on a six).

PS: The Earth will not freeze out if it was 20 centimeters further from the Sun. Over the last few centuries, it has moved way more than 20 cm from the Sun, and its rotational axis tilted more than 14 degrees.

You use the word "coincidence" as if we say it is the explanation for everything, which is totally untrue. I think you are referring to the fact that "chance" plays a role in evolution, and you're reciting some of the common misunderstandings of the role chance plays.

The sun rises in the east every day because the earth rotates on its axis in 24 hours. There is no chance involved in this rotation -- scientists know the rate of rotation with a great deal of precision.

The bilateral symmetry that humans have and share with most other animals comes from a distant ancestor from about 600 million years ago (see the link below).

The 20 centimeters range of the habitable zone around the sun is wrong by a large margin. Over the past 4.6 billion years, the sun's habitable zone has extended from about 0.95 AU to 1.15 AU -- a range of about 1.8 million miles!!

Let me end by saying that suppose you were able to come up with some coincidence that could not be explained with our current science. Why would you think that was evidence that the Bible is true? The Bible is much more in error in its description of the universe. Even if there is a god, there is no reason to think that the Bible is an accurate description of that god. But there is no objective evidence of anything supernatural, and until someone can provide such evidence, the most logical position is to reject claims of supernatural, and use the scientific method to expand our knowledge of reality.

1) The sun doesn't "rise," rather, the Earth spins in a certain direction such that the direction we first see the sun is in the East. It's not coincidence, it's the laws of physics (conservation of energy and orbital mechanics)
2) They don't always have them in the same place--flaws in the genetic code (DNA) cause malformations occassionally. But most are born "healthy" because their genetic code (their blueprint, that is) is set to create them that way
3) Actually, modern cosmology does believe that 2 planets collided, and that this caused the formation of the asteroid belt. Currently, only 2 planets have overlapping orbits, and the planets exert only a trivial amount of gravitational force on each other, so orbital mechanics says there won't be any collisions (prior to the sun's collapse).
4) Yes, this is true. The earth is remarkably well suited to produce our kind of life. However, note that there is still a possibility that life previously existed on Mars, which is millions of miles farther from the sun than earth is. Another way of saying it is that yes, life isextremely unlikely, and so is rare in the universe. However, only a life-supporting planet will produce beings capable of making a question like this, so it will always appear "miraculous" to them.

Lastly, let me say that I not an atheist, I'm a Christian (as I believe you are). Please try to think through the answers to your own questions first, and learn some very elementary science, so that you can have a reasonable discussion with those of other belief systems. Otherwise, you make it appear that all Christians are unschooled who know nothing other than the Bible, which is not what God wants of us.

I never met an atheist that put it into such terms but the idea of god is more coincidentally supported than any thing else in the world . Take the coincidental proof of miracles for instance isn't superstitious thinking when coincidence is the manner of supporting evidence ...?the fact that life evolved after the distances of the universe were established is not even mentioned to the narrow span of superstitious thinking
or the probabilities of an infinite universe .it's no coincedence that the superstitious have a mind that does not function on all cylinders. ever wonder why the greatest scientific thinkers don't agree with your outlook on the pseudo science of ID.

The sun "rises" from east to west because of the earth's rotation. One of the reasons life has flourished on this planet is because of its stable atmosphere. If the earth's rotation changed so much that the sun would one day rise from north to south, the planet wouldn't be suitable for life and we wouldn't be discussing this question.

Not all embryos are born with 2 eyes, 2 arms, or 2 legs. Ever hear of birth defects?

Once again, our particular rotation is specific and doesn't vary. That's why we have such a diverse amount of life here. That's why intelligent life didn't sprout up on Mercury, Venus, or Mars.

Your problem is that you think the earth is the way it is because we're here ... when in reality, we're here because the earth is the way it is.

1) Because that's the direction the Earth rotates. Seriously? You didn't know that?

2) Genes for symmatry.

3) Because of gravity. Ever hear of it? I'm guessing not.

4) Not true. The distance of the Earth from the Sun changes by more than 4 million miles over the course of one year. Again, you didn't know that? Did you finish high school?

......seriously?

Okay, I'll bite. As for the sun's position, yes, its just how our planet orbits the sun, we define the west and east based on that, not the other way around. As for humans and 2 eyes, 2 arms things, chalk it up to DNA. As for the whole crashing planets, well, theres a little thing called gravity which keeps the planets in their orbits. As for the distance from the sun, its just that we would have evolved to adapt to such conditions if the distance from the sun to the earth was different.

The earth spins in a certain direction and does not go around like a damn Tilt-a-Whirl...of course the sun only moves in a certain way around us, that does not mean a "god did it."

Two eyes... the "programming" within DNA. Sometimes that does get messed up...so if a feature is missing or misplaced, was your god just playing with them? Kind of a mean way to toy with people don't ya think.

Hearing with ears... now your pushing it... you expected people to hear with their @ss?

And all that other junk you pointed out... It's all nature, none of that is proof that a "god did it." This is ridiculous. It is clear that minds like yours that need religion, because you can't grasp the reality of certain things...which is ok if you want that as YOUR explanation, buy why does it have to be ours?

Given the sheer size of the universe, and number of solar systems in existence, it's not that strange that the right circumstances required for life as we understand it cropped up somewhere- most likely it's happened elsewhere too.
Humans always look for systems, laws, or meanings, in what are, in truth, patterns created by the phenomena of cause and effect.
Many people are quick to suggest that things happen for a reason, yet I have found reasons are never offered until after the event.
