this question is only for people who believe in the conditional security of the believer, eternal security people, please do not answer this question, thank you.

If you believe that your salvation is conditional - or that you can forfeit your salvation - how can you be assured that you are saved? how do you know? for example - are you sure you haven't sinned today? what about all the sins you commit that you aren't aware of? what about all the sins of things you are supposed to do that you failed to do? are you sure you covered everything? what about all your sins in your thoughts and your heart attitudes, are you sure that you never sinned in your heart? or in your thoughts? wouldn't you be living in fear? trying to make sure you did this and didn't do that? then isn't the focus on yourself and your ability to do this or that and not on what Christ did for you. How can He give you a gift and then take it back. What about if we are faithless He remains faithful?

The Islamic Faith has tremendous beauty and tremendous wisdom. Many people are ignorant of Islam and do not have any knowledge of the wisdom that is within it. So I ask this question: is justice an important teaching of Islam? It is a question for both Muslims and Non-Muslims.

are you ready for heaven? i sure am, im 14 and ive been saved since i was 12. but what are your opinons on heaven? i can't even imagine how great it would be. God doesn't really make it that hard on us. humans may live about 100 years, id rather live 100 years with suffering, and horrible world, and go to heaven with Jesus for ETERNITY!! Jesus has actually become a part of me, i can't live without him. i talk to him conatantly. but im babbling again, anyway my question is, what do you think heaven will be like?

Truth is everywhere, thanks to the Internet. We live in a time of the greatest choice... the greatest access to all things - both good and evil. At no other time in recorded history has mankind been so free to choose ... to grow in light, or to become evil.

Do you agree that we are living in the greatest of times?

Wow! I have just been listening to an audio mp3 version of the Dhammapada (a Buddhist scripture).

I am just thrilled at all these truths, just the same beautiful truths I have learned through the scriptures of my religion of origin, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

God reveals truth to all nations, and leaves none to dwell in darkness. How beautiful are the truths of God!

I have found so many similarities between my faith, Buddhism, Islam and ISKCON (Hare Krishnas). I honor God that he has spoken abundantly to his "other sheep," and the truths of His speech to humans are beautiful, from whichever nation they come.

Are you in love with the truths of God, as I am?

They want to deny gay's from marrying because (according to them) it would destroy the sanctity of marriage. But the bible says marriage is forever and yet the church allows divorced people to marry for a second, third, fourth, fifth time.

I was raised by my Dad and Step Mom till recently, and they believed that anything that seems to oppose the Bible is false. I held their views for a while, what could I do? I was homeschooled. But anyways, I have lately begun to doubt their beliefs and question them. Is Christianity for real?

a Buddhist once told me.
that even in enlightenment there are still things to learn even for a moment.

that the point of enlightenment is to stop and truly know that one knows nothhing really.
to start at sqaure one and beging down that path is true enlightment and at that end when you meet Buddha one couldnt say they know everything
butg at least they know something.

what do you think of what my friend said please tell me ???

Ya know the ones who really don't ever seem to know what they are talking about, the ones who ask stupid questions or make stupid comments that give the rest of us a bad name. Sometimes I don't even think they are actually atheist just a bunch of pissed off emo kids who claim to not believe in God because they hate themselves and just wanna fit in. I see them a lot in chat rooms.

I know the bible says dont have sex until marriage but my boyfriend and I are are expecting a son next month and just got back together a month ago. We are totally in love and planning to get married in a year. He hasn't offically proposed tho because he can't afford a ring right now. Now we were trying to wait until marriage but its getting really hard for us. We have already had sex and we are already one flesh and for us it isnt about just having sex we are in love and getting married next year and want to express our love to eachother. I think that we should wait until we are officially engaged but then it would be ok to express our love together. What do you think?

Do you think they the religion is a good choise? They know the bible pretty well and they seem to live very clean lives and spread the word of God even though they are critisized harshly. They are very organized throughout the world, isn't that one of the only religions that are that connected throughout the world. It seems with other religions that depending on what church you go to the beliefs change slightly to greatly. What do you think? and they really stand together when people are in need. Just pondering what God wants from his people.

It disturbs me to see so much hatred against god, his followers are constantly being persecuted and shunned. I mean if the USA is a place of freedom of religion then how come we must endure so much bias and hatred?

I think it is the "godless" who are responsible for all of the immorality that is going on, whether they are cheating on their spouses, blowing up abortion clinics, or flying into towers they are the reason of all the bad stuff that happens.

Just remember Lucifer still loves you ,all you monotheists!

When I was younger in high school and collage I had groups of Christians usually led by someone I thought of as a friend attempt to save me. My husband tells me the same thing happens in the military except they aren’t as polite.
My oldest child told me today that her friends told her she would go to hell if she didn’t attend Church. For being ten years old came up with an interesting counter point. She told them, “When I’m with people that love me I am in Church, because Church is home, and home is where people love me.” Sorry I couldn’t help bragging her up a bit, she is a blessing.
I’m also remembering a Nun being vexed no end by a couple of fundamentalist that was trying to save her. Do any of you have stories of marauding bands of Christians out on patrol to convert the unwary to their way of thinking?
