Both processes require a leap of faith. Yet some non-believers with deep faith in a spontaneous creation for no reason, scoff at believers of a creation that was orchestrated by a sentient being.

Dear Fellow Wiccans,

Thank you in advance!
Regards with my latter question about Protection Charm… I decided to open up a little secret why I am asking for your help….
My friend who was also a novice Wiccan performed a dangerous spell out of curiosity. I did try to stop her and lectured her of how dangerous it would be since she was also a beginner. I am not sure of what name of that spell is but it is kind of summoning a spirit. And I’m pretty sure that she has not called our Goddess and God but other negative spirits.
She told me that she even doesn’t know if the circle she created is perfectly sacred. She had used tools, charm, etc. but the outcome is that she summoned lots of spirits which is now disturbing their quiet home. She hears footsteps, knocks, etc. and her family is fully alarmed. Her parents don’t know what she’s up to and as a friend I feel guilty for not trying my best to stop her. As of now, I’m busy researching for a method to help her. Kindly help us..

BB

Why not find inner peace within yourself instead of believing in a mythical entity

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070902223548AAHASEh&pa=FYd1D2bwHTHwLLJhHe08RRNKaXl4dWUqqU_sBD_DmhDUWw--&paid=asked&msgr_status=

and i guess i didn't realize how defensive people get to religion and its extremely funny because theres answers from every angle disagreeing with others topics and agreeing to some some are completely different some are like he wasnt skinny some are saying he is some are he didnt have a beard some say he did some say he wasnt a carpenter some say he was which goes to show ONLY LIKE 5 PEOPLE EVEN KNOW WHAT THERE TALKING ABOUT instead of just saying what they were told

so my question is why do people answer these questions if there going to be rude and/or not know what there talking about

AND why people get so sensitive on the topic of religion thanks :D

Okay, so theres this group of Jehova's witnesses that consistently show up at my door every month.

The first few times, I took the literature, sat down and actually read it. I surprisingly agreed with some of the concepts such as "What's happening to movies" etc.

But they kept coming... I'm fifteen, and my parents are out a lot of the time (they both work at the hospital), and eventually I just started throwing the stuff away...

Finally I worked up the courage to say "no thanks" I'm not sure if I offended him, but lo and behold, I watched him through the window; he lay down several fliers on my doorstep...

I really need advice... Is there some way I can get out of this without offending him... Do you think hes being slightly pushy... Is this organization based on handing out literature...

Like I said, any suggestions on how I can handle this with some form of tact, or will I accidentally offend him in some way...

The Bible said that God made the Earth in 7 days. Well let me ask you this. Since a day is the amount of time it takes for the Earth to rotate 360 degrees, how did God define a day before he made the Earth???? Explain to me why it would be wrong to interpret that a day for God prior to the existence of Earth could not have been longer than 24 hours. For all we know, a day for God could be billions of years. You can't say that God created the Universe in 7 literal Earth days when the Earth did not exist yet. You especially cannot say it was six literal Earth days because the Bible does not specify what kind of day it was. All it says is that God made it in 7 days. For all we know it could be a Mercury day, or a Saturn day, or a Mars day, or maybe a day to God is some unit of time that we are unaware of. I don't see how the creation story in the bible contradicts the theory that the Earth is 4.5 Billion years old.

4 is Shi in japanese meaning death.

A rebellious angel v God almighty? Hmm...

And why did God create the bugger in the first place? He must have known what would happen (being all-seeing)?

Should I just learn about each religion, and then deny what is most sacred, or are there one or two legal actions that I could take to help speed things along.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I want to make a fake religion. I am not going to believe it but just make it. I am not going to practice any rituals. I still believe in Jesus. Is this a sin?

I know this path, it's not a much used one and slightly narrow but on it you will see sights you never knew existed. On this path you will have joy, contentment, serenity and love. If you don't believe what is at the end of this road, isn't the journey worth the walk to have what is offered? If you don't like or want what is offered, what have you lost?
Would you like to take a walk with me?
