I want to make a fake religion. I am not going to believe it but just make it. I am not going to practice any rituals. I still believe in Jesus. Is this a sin?

A sin? Yes. The first commandment speaks about "other gods." A false religion creates another god, whether it's like god or not. Anything that takes the focus away from God is an idol (covered in the second commandment).

So the creation of a fake religion would break both.

specific, no longer all Christians are "against gays". the belief of it fairly is, it is that the Bible teaches that Homosexuality is a sin. Leviticus 18:22 says, "You shall no longer lie with a male as with a woman. it fairly is an abomination." it kind of feels that individuals misunderstand Christianity to be this entire important branch of a conservative team, that shaped basically the day previous, and whose purpose is to downright hate and protest gay human beings while in fact, some human beings, which comprise myself, at the instant are not even questioning approximately doing something approximately homosexuality. it is already been finished, and you are able to't substitute the shown fact that homosexuality exists, in assessment to those conservative- republican Christians of right this moment. Frankly, i do no longer care if gays get married, no longer by way of fact I lack pastime or choose of that (political) pass, it is basically the shown fact that on the top of the day, persons are going to do even in the event that they choose to do. i think of it is likewise a private opinion. yet specially, it is by way of fact Christians have self belief that homosexuality isn't something that honors God. i'm no longer making this up.

It's not a good idea- there's enough false religions in the world- why add to the confusion? You don't want to be responsible for leading someone astray. Your job is to teach people the truth.

Awww, but the rituals are what makes it FUN! Cruciferians volunteer to hang naked on a cross while the service takes place in front of her. There's lots more, but that usually gets people's attention.

Would you make it public, will it lead people to stray from the bible and from god, would it go against anything said in the bible? If you can answer yes to anyone of those then yes it is wrong to do so

Whatever is not done in faith is sin. If God isn't leading you to do this, then it is sin.

I made up my own theological system once, it was lots of fun.
Somehow chipmunks got involved, though and....well, you know how it is with chipmunks.
