Jehovah's Witnesses both witness personally and bear witness to others regarding God's personal name, his majestic personality, and Kingdom purposes. In doing so, they align themselves with Jesus Christ and the prophets.

(Isaiah 43:10) “You are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah

(Isaiah 43:12) So you are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “and I am God.

(Hebrews 12:1-2) Because we have so great a cloud of [Jehovah's] witnesses surrounding us, let us also put off every weight and the sin that easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, as we look intently at the Chief Agent and Perfecter of our faith, Jesus

(Revelation 1:5) Jesus Christ, “the Faithful Witness”

(Acts 5:38,39) Do not meddle with these men, but let them alone; (because, if this scheme or this work is from men, it will be overthrown; but if it is from God, YOU will not be able to overthrow them;) otherwise, You may perhaps be found fighters actually against God.”

I am no JW fan but I know that Jehovas Witnesses in Germany were some of the few groups to resist Hitler and the Nazis. They also helped the Jews. They were sent to concentration camps. The Nazis said if they would embrace Naziism then they could go free. They refused and died in the camps.

"Jehovah's Witnesses endured intense persecution under the Nazi regime. Actions against the religious group and its individual members spanned the Nazi years 1933 to 1945. Unlike Jews and Sinti and Roma "Gypsies"), persecuted and killed by virtue of their birth, Jehovah's Witnesses had the opportunity to escape persecution and personal harm by renouncing their religious beliefs. The courage the vast majority displayed in refusing to do so, in the face of torture, maltreatment in concentration camps, and sometimes execution, won them the respect of many contemporaries."

I don't agree with their theology but I respect their courage.

Right now my mom is ill, very ill.... I have been a studying witness for quite some time... The battles I have faced I expect...

True story here, I can give a true witness of Jehovah... I am and have been emotionally drained, and exhausted with all that I have to do... I would not do a single thing different than to give my all to my family... I take this as it is...

But, graciously I accepted the offering of them Brothers and sisters of the Kingdom Hall, bringing my family dinner ever other night for the next two weeks... To make my load a little lighter... I hesitaed but quickly realized this would free up some of my time to put my nose to the scriptures to study... So I took them up on this offer...

I am greatful, thankful for Jehovahs Witnesses... They have not gave up on me, nor has Jehovah... I am imperfect, I sin almost daily... But for some reason God is holding onto me.... I feel his love, and know he is real....

Yesterday I heard the talk through my phone while I sat in my easy room comfy on my sofa, with my baby girls next to me... And my mom close by.... They ask for nothing from me... What more do I need to see this is the way?

Simply nothing... I say bring it ON... I expect confrontation, and even to you, in this talk I listened to, it brought out for the need for prayer to be said for those persecuting us because what gift is there in praying for those who loves us only? It makes perfect sense... Love your enemies is what I have read... I hope this sheds some light on your questions... Joking or not you have truth said right here...

You know, the "Jehovah's witnesses" are as phony as the name "The Olive Garden".

First of all, Jehovah was never the name for god. Some silly person misinterpreted the Jewish texts and thought that Jehovah was correct. It is not.

The Olive Garden is silly as well. Olives grow on trees and therefor the correct name should be "The Olive Orchard".

Must be important to be knocking on my door at 9 am. I like to invite them in for a nice fresh batch of "roofie" pancakes, then drop them off at a gay after hours club.
