Leviticus 19:26
" 'Do not eat any meat with the blood still in it. " 'Do not practice divination or sorcery.
Deuteronomy 18:14
[ The Prophet ] The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the LORD your God has not permitted you to do so.
2 Kings 17:17
They sacrificed their sons and daughters in the fire. They practiced divination and sorcery and sold themselves to do evil in the eyes of the LORD, provoking him to anger.
Micah 5:12
I will destroy your witchcraft and you will no longer cast spells.
Galatians 5 - Life by the Spirit
16So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. 17For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. 18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.
19The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
If she keeps playing with fire, she will get burned.

This answer is not only for Wiccan magic, but for magik in general... What is summoned must be dismissed, or banished. It is good ecological reasoning--take only pictures, leave only footprints.
It sounds like she did an invocation. The answer is to do a banishing. Either the Greater or Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram should do just fine. You can find the outlines of these rituals easily online, or use the one from Modern Magick. It's a very easy ritual to do, and it is perfectly fine to have the book open while doing it.
Circles are fine for doing magik, they protect you while you are in them. But for invocations, it is best to have the entity appear in a separate triangle or circle, sometimes called the Triangle of Art. The entity is safely summoned by a capable magician into the Triangle, while the magician is in the circle, and can be questioned etc, then released from the Triangle to go back where they came from. Never ever just summon things into your house, where they can roam around freely.
If it makes you feel any better, this is not the first time something like this has happened, and it may be a good wake up call for your friend. Release your guilt in this matter, you are not responsible. Sometimes folks need to see with their own eyes that what they are doing is really stooopid. Like my mother says, the best lesson is the one you pay for. That goes for you, and your friend.
On an entirely different note, I gather your friend is bent on some form of self destructive behaviour. Summoning negative entities without proper training is a bit like trying to drive a car when you don't know how. Something bad is bound to happen. I would advise you as a friend to this person to talk to them deeply and openly about just why they did something like this, and perhaps have some kind of intervention.
Good luck.

Tessa, allow me to answer the last question first. Yes, Wicca IS real. Wicca is a Religion and as such, we give honor to BOTH a Goddess and a God (although there are exceptions to that (Dianic Wicca, being one)). We also acknowledge the Divine as being manifest in the Natural world around us, which kind of gives non-Wiccans the impression that we worship Nature. It is not Nature that we worship it is the Divine, and nature is only the conduit through which we do so. Wicca do not worship idols, we worship in front of statues (again there are many exceptions to this as well (Green Witches come to mind)). Christians do not worship the cross, they worship what the cross represents, it is precisely that same principle in Wicca. We conduct our ceremonies during the full moon (some also the new moon), and eight Sabbats which are spread out over the year (What many Wicca call the Wheel of the Year). These celebrations re-live certain phases in the life ages of the Gods and Goddesses and are done in commemoration of these Divine events. The Wicca recognize the existence of good and evil as inherent is ALL things, everything and everyone has the capability for BOTH (Even the Divine). Evil therefore, is an integral part of everything and one can not have one without the other. The key to this is balance, Wicca hold the concept of balance to be one of the core principles of the universe and al which exists. So, to answer your first question, there is NO being which is totally good or totally evil, only the intent of the individual determines whether a thing or an action is for good or evil. Therefore, as there is NO being assigned the nature of total evil (ie, a devil) it is impossible for us to worship such a being. NOw, as many member of Judeo-Christian-Islamic Faiths are so fond of stating in unequivocal terms, "if you do not worship the god of light and love, then you are worshiping the devil". They fail to realize that in order to worship anything or anyone, then worship MUST be the intent. There is no such thing as unknowingly worshiping anyone. We can NOT worship a concept which does NOT exist to us, therefore we do NOT worship the "Devil", as the "Devil" is NOT one of the Divine being concepts which exists within the Faith system of Wicca. It is as simple and direct as that. Does this make sense to you? Brightest Blessings, Raji the Green Witch

As others have recommended sage smudge I will warn that the odor from those will be noticed by the rest of the family. I would suggest: 1st - tell her parents what is going on, they deserve that much respect. 2nd - In addition to the smudge stick, light a black candle for banishment. 3rd - open all windows and doors and then do a ritual sweeping of space, clearing each room. It will probably work best if traveling deosil through the house as you go from room to room, do not leave out any space. Hopefully all this works. And for yourself, I would consider binding your friends power for at least a year and a day in hopes that she will spend the time learning from this mistake and act more responsibly.

She needs more than a protection charm, she needs a major purification. First, all magical purification starts with physical purification. So a thorough cleaning of the entire house is in order. If it's too big a job for her, organize a work party to help. Then go through the place with burning sage, smudging very carefully in all corners of every room. Then asperge with water, preferably pure spring water. Then open all the doors and windows and create a circle in the center of the house, as near as possible, and summon your best energy to center on the circle and spread outward through the entire house.
Of course, it might not be easy to do this without first getting her family out, if they don't know she is a witch.

I agree with the guy who recommended sage smudge sticks. But she needs to purify her whole house, not just where she performed her spell. If she can't find any sage to burn, sandlewood is a good purifyer. I would recommend burning white oleander, as it is a stronger purifyer than sage (since you aren't sure what she has called to her). Other ways to purify is with candle magic. A white candle is for purity and protection. Which whenever you are performing magic, of any type, it is a good idea to burn a white candle to keep harmful spirits away. Carve a Pentacle into the candle with your Athame, for extra protection. While she is burning this candle she needs to mentally project the outcome she wishes. A little warning, if you aren't sure of what you are doing, then don't do it. Magic isn't something to play with and you need to respect it. You should never perform magic out of curiosity. Magic should be pure, therefore, you need to have a purpose other than just wanting to see what happens. She's lucky, next time she could cause harm to her family.

Those footsteps, etc, are a result of her own energies and will stop when she truely wants them to.
This is why we Wiccans frown on dabblers...they end up with problems of their own creation.
I mean, I could fib to you and say do this spell and use this oil, but the simple fact remains that until she's done wanting the attention, the events will continue.
Unless you have a local person who can convince her to stop empowering these events, she has to stop on her own.

Tell her to tell them that I said to knock it off and go back to their hole. The alternative is to be totally dissapated. I do not tolerate unruly spirits.

I'd say your friend is pwn3d. I never bothered to learn how to banish Outsiders because I was never foolish enough to draw their lot into this world. Good luck finding a way to help your friend. =/
