All people ever say is that he's "outside" of those things or "transcend" those things. They're very careful not to get too specific because obviously there IS NO RATIONAL EXPLANATION for what they're trying to assert.

It seems to me that you have a basic misunderstanding about what Christian theology actually says. Much of it is based off the writings of Plato and Aristotle, specifically the latter's _Metaphysics_. The Christian concept of God is very similar to Aristotle's concept of the Prime Mover, or unmoved mover, etc.

That is, God was not anywhere when he created space. God does not have a where. He exists on a plane that is completely separate from human existence and completely difference in what existing even means. God does not have a when. He does not exist in the past or in the future. God Is. Any creation by God does not involve energy, or movement. Creation comes merely out of his contemplation.

If you are honestly interested in understanding the syllogism used here and you're not just offering a feeble attempt at disproving the existence of God as though the things you have said have been overlooked by scholars and theologians for the last few millennia then you should read (in this order) the following books:

_Physics_ and _Metaphysics_, both by Aristotle.

_Summa Theologica_ by Thomas Aquinas. You would not need to read this entire work, but look for the part involving the Five Ways, or quinqae viae.

1. God does not live in the physical realm. Rather, God is a Spirit and he lives in the spiritual heavens. The Bible does not say exactly when God created the physical or spiritual heavens. God is perfect and self-contained. He does not need companionship or anything else that could add anything to Him since he is all-encompassed. His motive for creating intelligent beings was therefore a selfless act motivated by His wanting to have all creation joyfully unified in praising His great name. -Psalm 150:6; Psalm 19:1

2. The Bible does not say when God created time. God is not affected by time. Only he knows when time began. The Bible does not say how time is measured in heaven. On our planet earth, time has always been measured in some respects as to the rising and setting of the sun, these being indicators as to "seasons and for days and years" (Genesis 1:14). However, a thousand years for humankind is as a mere day with God figuratively speaking. (2 Peter 3:8)

3. God's holy spirit, or power, is what he used to create all things through Jesus (Psalm 104:30; Colossians 1:15, 16). God is described in the Bible as having an abundance of dynamic energy and energy is what all matter is made of. His power is unlimited. And, since energy can be converted to matter and vice versa, all the matter that we see is evidence of God's abundant creative energy. -Isaiah 40:26

1. Where exactly was he when he created space?

- Possibly the same place we are when putting Gold Fish into a tank. On the outside looking in.

2. When did he create time?

- Time is not a thing. It is a term used for reference, just as distance and temperature are. Time as with distance and temperature is a bi-product of creation. We have distance only due to having more than 1 point in space. The difference between two or more points is referred to as distance. Just as the historical and futuristic difference between two or more points is called time.

3. With what energy did he create energy?

- Possible the same comparison as to what energy do we use to create fire. Whatever the source of creation energy is, our limited knowledge cannot define it nor measure it. Much like Romans could not define nor measure current. Humans have a lot of technology today. Yet we are still as babes taking their very first steps. 20 years from now what seems hi-tech today, will seem as the "Pong" game from the 70s.

- These are my best, no nonsense, attempts at answering three very challenging questions. The same questions apply to the beginning with or without the existence of God. -

1. God is infinite. Human brain can not imagine infinite. So, the question "where exactly was he" does not carry any meaning to human logic.
2. Human is created in a four dimensional world. Length, breadth, height and time. Human brain can not imagine more dimensions but logic deducts that, there may be many more dimensions, like in string theory, eleven or more. In case of those many dimensional world(s) time may have little or no significance in their existence. So, your second question seems logical for human world; but for Almighty God, whose dimension we dont know, surely, does not apply. About the nature of God we dont know anything but there is an information you can think of: 'God is the container of everything'.
3. Nature, dimension etc of God is not known to human. He is Almighty, he is infinite, he can do and undo anything only if he wishes. Energy, time, space, matter, natural laws etc. all are created according to his wish.
Finally, you will never get a direct proof of existence of God. You have to believe or disbilieve the unseen God. You have to work out the riddle corrctly. I request you to consider which seems more logical to your knowledge. I pray to God to show you the right way and to get the right answer. Take care.

God has no beginning or end. He is infinite.
We (human beings) are finite.
We are not programmed to understand eternity. WE think of everything has having a beginning or an end.

Space, time and energy have arguably always been around in one form or another. Yes they have changed over the course of billions of years, however the premise of God's existence and his creation of these things, simply enforces the law of infinity.

For a human "finite" mind. Trying to understand God and infinity is like trying to grasp a slippery object. First you haveit, then you don't, ......ad infinitum.........

1. in an entirely different realm where space doesn't apply, or any other dimmension for that matter
2. in the beginning. without time to define "when" time was created, time just started in the beginning
3. ask the big bang theorists. seriously, the Bible in it's original language says He created something out of nothing.

God/dess IS. Everywhere ALL the time. One the first day, God created light. So that was when creation came into existence...made from 'His' own Self.
'God' is not something that you can actually comprehend. When thinking on these questions there will always be another. Thus we have humility enough to accept the answer, that 'She' IS...and live our lives with as much understanding of the constant presence of the divine as possible.

I love questions like you, I mean, no matter what any religious person tries to answer with, nine times out of ten, no one is actually really going to listen; questions like this are just an open invitation to bash on those of us willing to believe in something bigger than ourselves...
