Ya know the ones who really don't ever seem to know what they are talking about, the ones who ask stupid questions or make stupid comments that give the rest of us a bad name. Sometimes I don't even think they are actually atheist just a bunch of pissed off emo kids who claim to not believe in God because they hate themselves and just wanna fit in. I see them a lot in chat rooms.

I've always assumed they were kids. I try to ignore them. They thrive on attention. Don't poke the bear.

As an agnostic, I can definitely say that I quite often get p-o'd at atheists. Not all atheists -- just the pompous ones who go around trying to impose their will upon people. Of course, there are even more so-called "Christians" like that. Oh, wait, you know what really gets me? Those Jehovah's Witnesses who prowl unsuspecting neighborhoods just looking for someone who they can make as empty-headed as themselves. I try to be accepting of all people's beliefs, but when you have some JWs come by several times a day to try to convert you, it gets extremely difficult. I don't care what god you pray to, when you wind up on these people's list, it's simply a matter of will power which keeps you from forcibly inserting that satchel, or whatever the hell it is, into their rectum.
My solution: I've adopted the motto "f*** stupid people" -- and I stand by that.

Well not always, but sometimes its just very frustrating because we as atheist already have to deal with ignorant people who just don't understand what it means to be atheist, so its hard enough without these people who claim to be atheist but have no understanding of the word themselves, so the only time i get mad at "atheist's" is when i ask what made them decide that there is no god, and their response is something along the lines of "i don't know" or "because my friend told me there is no god" i think anyone who is a true atheist found that belief through research, logic, and reason, any one who didn't decide for themselves is most likely just saying it to sound cool, or something like that, and what separates true atheist from religious people is the ability to think for ourselfves.

Yeah, the ones that act like they're five and make everyone else mad. They make us look bad, just like that Lady Saphira gal or Dr Doris make all the Christians look bad, or like Mavis makes black people look bad. It sucks that when one person out of millions speaks-- it's always the most annoying one that people listen to and use as an example as for the rest of us. I think a lot less people would hate us non-believers if the few wanna-be kids would shut their traps.

Mad? No. Mystified sometimes? Yes. Life is too short to get 'mad' about something said (or not said) here. Ultimately, R&S is what it is, a place to ask questions and hope somebody will give a decent answer sans attitude, smart-mouthery, or verbal abuse from the Fundies.

Mad? Nope. I just feel sad that people who claim to be atheists do not realize that they are not much different than the religionists they condemn. Claiming that there is no God when there is no proof there is or isn't a God requires faith. Having faith is one of the hallmarks of religion.

It's like that South Park episode where the future belongs to atheists who fight other atheists because they can't come up with a name that everyone can agree on.

not really. i don't have a strong tribal concept of atheism. it is just a bunch of people who don't believe in gods, otherwise i think we have little in common. i don't feel any particular compunction against arguing with other atheists. and if someone judges me because of the actions of another atheist that's their mistake, and i will try to correct them.
