With all the pressure to beleive in God, and to follow the crowd, and to "FEAR" God, I'm sorry, but I've started to hate Christians. You all seriously need to stop forcing your beliefs on people, and let them make their own choices! Religion is a dang buisness. That's all there is to it. It's a way to generate money, and I HATE IT. So now, you can hate me for not agreeing with you! Any thoughts? Be as mean as you want, doesn't bother me none.

With 90% of Americans being Christian of some sort and 53% believing in literal creation as told in Genesis it is difficult to not be a "Sister" especialy if someone is in the military or in almost any academic environment. I have been physicaly beat up for not being Christian and I've had numerous intervention type attempts at being "gang" saved (well over a dozen). This isn't so bad after you own your own home and have the freedom to shut the world out. The "World" by the way is Christianity. I am in the world but not of it.
Some follow the teachings of Jesus and aren't Christian, that would be me, the UnChristian.
I understand completely why you would generalize Christians even though some are fine examples of what God intends us to be, many are just a step away from Nazi thought.
That you question yourself indicates you are more developed than the avarage Christian.

hate is a strong word. Be careful at that which you hate, since you are creating movement which will see to it that you become what you hate.

Anyways, the religions of the world do generate money and etc, they don't follow the pattern of the past, in fact they are in reverse to their first principles. But this is still no reason to hate, if it is beneficial and advantageous in the life of some soul, then it is good. It serves its purpose beyond just what is seen as a cash cow, especially with respect to the Roman Catholic church.

And they probably will never stop trying to convert people, but not all Christians do that, just the same as not even a greater portion of Muslims attempt to force people through fear and death of their Jihad. What has occurred is that the carnal project these things outwardly, the only converting a true Christian should do is within themselves, the only Jihad that a Muslim should do is within themselves.

True Christians don't hate people. They also don't force their beliefs on anyone. Some unscrupulous people have used religion as a way to make money. They have their reward.
God isn't pressuring you. He isn't angry with you. You don't need to be afraid of Him. There is no "crowd"; there's only you and what you decide to do. Don't let "christians" turn you off to Christ.

You don't hate Christians, You hate God. You hate His Ways and His Words. You only use Christianity as a scapegoat. It is very difficult for someone to hate God, rather than admitting this, some people claim they hate His followers instead. Less guilt associated with hating people. You hate the message of Gods Word and justify this in your mind by hating the person who spoke to you Gods Word. Not everyone can hear Gods Word and receive it with joy. Sometimes the desire to be popular drowns out the hearing of Gods Word. The world has many messages that are intended to drown out Gods Word and keep it from growing in a persons heart. As far as "generating money" ...Yes, look at all the good Christian organizations are doing with this money. Did you know the American Red Cross is a Christian organization? And the Boy Scouts of America, and the YMCA, also Christian organizations. How about Christian organizations such as "Operation Blessing" "Compassion International" "Billy Graham Evangelical Assoc" "Salvation Army".....These organizations exist because Christians pay for them through donations and tithing. Where are the Atheist organizations when disaster strikes? Where is Scientology? Where are the organizations of Islam when tragedy befalls humanity? How about Jehovahs witness and Mormon organizations?
Christian organizations are giving, food, medicine, and clothing, to all people throughout the world. Look at the humanitarian outreaches of local Christian churches in your area and across the world, they set up soup and bread lines for the hungry, many have hospital outreaches for the sick and dying, many give temporary housing to those in need. Now think of all the money it takes to pay for all this humanitarian aid across the globe. Yes...They ask for contributions to help pay for this, if not money, perhaps donating time, or a used car, or gently used clothing, or canned goods. These people donate their time to help others and all you can do is find fault and say you hate them. What have you done to help the less fortunate in this world? From your attitude, I would guess nothing. There is more to life than self gratification...It's called "Love" and "Compassion"
If you can't take the time to go to an area of need in this world, then send money for those who are already over there trying to help. Do something to help humanity and stop trying to hinder those who genuinely want to help others in need.
You say you hate Christians, fine...But what about non-christians who are starving and dying all around this globe?
That is who Christians help the most, the unsaved, the unbelievers of this world. Have you any idea the amount of money it takes to operate all the charitable organizations around the world? Trillions of dollars!! Your hate is misplaced, you may find yourself in need someday, perhaps after a terrorist nuclear bomb explodes in this country.
I have a feeling, in that day, you will no longer hate the Christians sacrificing their own safety to help you and others in need. God Bless You....Peace.

Just be thankful people try to share the Good News about Jesus Christ. Some true Christian tries to help you because of your soul can be saved by Jesus and you may have eternal life. Don't throw you soul away, if you start to love your soul and you will start not to hate, that you may know the love of Jesus Christ that He is the One save your soul.
Yes, "Fear" God is correct. Without Jesus Christ, we are end up darkness. Hell is not pretty where more terrible and extreme fearful than you think.

It is never good to hate. We follow Christ out of love. The fear of Him is only out of awe on His Majesty.

He is able to destroy both body and soul. I team up with Him. I put the full armor of God around me, and no evil can penetrate.

Religions are not good. Jesus is perfect. That is why I follow Him and no religion. I gladly and cheerfully give money to the kingdom purposes. You, do not give if you are not a cheerful giver.

yes, after all, it's not like we never get the pressure to conform or have beliefs shoved down our throats. situations vary on location

evolution
the big bang
gay marriage and being seen as evil if you don't support it
liberalism
the marrying of non-believers' and Christian ideologies

and guess what? most intelligent people believe these things because most intelligent people believe most intelligent people believe these things!

we're called stupid constantly, we're called hateful, money/power-hungy, bigots, hypocritcal, evil, etc. I've yet to actually meet a person who claims to understand hate who really does. and no, I don't hate you.

You are making a grave generalization. I do not "force my beliefs on people," everyone is entitled to they're own opinion. However I do fear God. And it is there choice. : - )
And btw Christian is a relative term.
I like to be called a follower of Christ.

i understand your rage. but remember for every fundamentalist that is pushing their beliefs. there are probably 10 sitting at home just wanting to be left alone. that do not care if you have an abortion or if i marry a man. they just dont want to be bothered with it. they see the whold thing as something that is spinning out of their control and they feel as helpless as you and i do to change the laws and government as it currently is.

I'm a Christian, and if people don't agree with my religious viewpoints, that's their right. I do not force my beliefs on others. Never have and never will. You're free to believe (or to not believe) whatever you want.
