yes.he did give the command to multiply and fill the earth, but that command was to adam and eve. sex may be enjoyable and the bible even says to render a husband his due and to render a wife her due. within marriage.

my question is......... if a person is beyong childberaring age or is proven to be barren, is sex between husband and wife forbidden? according the thte church.

paul. i hope i was clear. i dobelieve that the marriagebed is to be without defilement and all adultery and fornication. i'm talking about a man and his wife. if she is barren, may they still have relations (intercourse) according to the church?

Yes, of course a husband and wife can still have relations even if one, or both, is barren.

There is nothing in the Bible that forbids a married couple from consumating their marital union with carnal relations, simply because at least one of them is barren.

Only the marriage bed is undefiled---all other forms of extramarital sex are sinful ---Jesus even said that if you lust after someone in your heart, you have sinned----and some are considered abominations by God. God provided most people with a sex drive to procreate and populate the earth but he made rules on what is acceptable to him. Sex is also a way for man and woman to join spiritually and emotionally to become as one flesh.
