1.1 billion Catholics: Catholicism, which is the largest Christian denomination, believes in evolution but not as a perfect theory which can explain everything.. There is no other Christian denomination that comes close in member numbers. So the balance of Christians belong to many many little denominations and independent Churches of differing traditions and dogmas. Some of these denominations are Petrine: trace their start to St. Peter. Some of these denominations resemble Catholicism while others do not. Outside of the Catholic Church, you are talking about many many little groups with competing ideas and historical foundations.. All Christians will never be in the same ballpark on every doctrinal stand.. You might study the larger Christian denominations to ascertain the similarities and differences.. A suggestion..

The Bible like any other book is open to the interpretation of the reader. In my opinion the World is extremely old, but Christian friends of mine believe in a young earth. Some of us interpret the Bible literally, others interpretively. The thing that makes us all Christians however, is that we all bellieve that the Bible is Gods word, we all believe in Christ as the Son of God, and we all believe the only way to salvation is through Christ.

I think it has to do with being human, not Christian. If, you look at ALL people it not matter if they a Christian or not. Just ask about Global Warming and see all the contradictions you get.

This is total nonsense. Do all scientists believe the exact same way? Absolutely not and they shouldn't. Why not give religion the same liberty to agree to disagree?

Can you see the foolishness among the nonbelievers?
Psa 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: [there is] none that doeth good.

ummm, I call it 'freewill'...just cuz they call themselves Christians, or anything else, doesn't mean they have to agree on a specific number of years...since none of it can be 'proven' and even 'scientific evidence' has an element of faith and belief in it!

Christians are people. People are fallible. We can argue till we all turn blue, but hopefully our focus is on the one thing we all share - Jesus.
