from a previous question, i noticed many athiests say that they don't believe they have soul!
so that makes sense! if you don't believe in the most abvious thing inside of you, then how can you believe in God. oh man, you really are far away...

what would you do with them? get coffee? talk about religion? try to save their souls? beat them up? lol

I'm not going to apologize for thinking religion is a plague on humanity. I truly believe that, and because I believe that I have a moral obligation to speak out against religion.

But I don't think it's necessary to say things like "Jesus raped puppies." That's just stupid, and all you're doing is inciting conflict. I don't expect you will stop doing that, because anyone who would do it in the first place clearly has no thought or care about it. More so, I'm just saying all this to separate myself from your kind.

I was doing minstry related job, serving God in other country for few months. After i came back to the states, I've been looking for a job. My heart is continually serving God, but my parents are keep on forcing me to get a real job. They don't want me to do ministry at all. Due to my parents saying stuff alot, I've been constantly applying, doing interviews, searching for a job but I never got one. Companies are not calling too much or either that position for the job was already filled. Although I constantly pray so that I can work for a while before I go to ministry, I am not being hired. So now, Somtimes, I feel that I lost the passion to serve although it is my desire to go ministry. Somtimes I feel so stupid because I am not being hired at the same time. I dont want to work in secular environment rest of my life, just doing work all day. What lesson is God teaching me? how can I respond and pray for situation like these? How can I restore my vision?

Jesus sinned by making himself unclean when he touched the leper and dead
girl (a violation of Levitical law which all Jews were under. Jesus himself
agreed he was under the law.) (Ezekiel 44:25-27,Lev 13:1-8, Lev 5:2-6, Num
5:1-3, Num 19:11, Matt 9:23-26, Matthew 8:2-4)

Jesus promised to return from heaven within the lifetimes of his
listeners – he never did. (Matthew 16:27-28, Matthew 24:34, Matthew 25:13, Matthew 10:23)

the secret priests would take great Cthulhu from His tomb to revive His subjects and resume His rule of earth....Then mankind would have become as the Great Old Ones; free and wild and beyond good and evil, with laws and morals thrown aside and all men shouting and killing and revelling in joy. Then the liberated Old Ones would teach them new ways to shout and kill and revel and enjoy themselves, and all the earth would flame with a holocaust of ecstasy and freedom.

I've never understood why "pro-life" Christians (does that make the rest of us are somehow "anti-life"?) feel they have the right to protest outside abortion clinics, as though one person's faith takes precedence over another person's freedom over their own body.

So I'm just asking for a little fair play - would anybody object terribly if we started setting up modern sterile mobile abortion clinics outside churches, setting one person's personal freedom over her body over another person's faith. Only fair, surely?

Something has really been bothering me. At a church I just joined the Pastor noted that some in the audiance were being too cool during the praise and whorship time. He went on to say that the person was not participating because they didn't feel worthy. Also implied the person would be found out and maybe this isn't the place for them. Later statements by others lead me to believe he was talking about me. Not sure. I usually stand and clap but the shouting and running is just not my style. I would feel like I was a fraud to do so. Is it wrong to stand and clap or do you have to do what others do. Maybe the Cathoalic Church is more my style?

jesus did not say to accept other religions as being true. In fact, He made one of the most "intolerant" statements that any religious leader has ever made:

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me." (John 14:6)

This statement alone reveals that all other religions and religious ideas cannot be true. No religion other than Christianity claims that Jesus is the only way to God. Therefore, either Jesus was telling the truth and He is the only way to God or He was a liar and Christianity is false.

And don't say "i send money to charities over the net" cause it's bs, and don't say "i work for a charity". Idealy you should sell your possesions and give the money to the poor and needy as jesus said than you will be in the kingdom of heaven, yet you will argue and convince yourself that you are already going to heaven.

I'd like to know how many of you really believe in any sort of afterlife, weather that be heaven/hell, reincarnation, or you float around as energy/spirit till the end of time.

And how many people, like myself, think that life just ends, and belief in an afterlife is just humans unable to come to terms with there own mortality.

If someone swears in the name of Allah he will never do this bad thing again (e.g cursing masturbating, stealing, drinking etc.), but he still does it, what is the ruling if he seeks forgiveness? I have asked a different question about this and they all say for recompensation, free a Muslim slave, feed 10 poor people or clothing them, and if you can't do this, fast for three days and seek forgiveness.

What I'm really saying is do these recompensation acts must be done for each time he breaks it or as a whole?

Help me, guys. I did something bad and I swore in the name of Allah I will never do it again, but I have repeated it many times. Please, do I recompense for each act or as a whole? I really didn't mean to do it and I am afraid, I seek Allah S.W.T's forgiveness. Please, help me.

"There's only TWO options in existence. You are either for Jesus, or you are for Satan. There is no third option."

This is copied from a question where the person that made this statement proclaims that everyone that doesn't agree is close-minded.

I don't think that billions of people serve Satan, and frankly I find it hateful to be told this.

Please dont try to argue that one group is more responsible than the other thier is plenty of blame to go around. Why is it so hard to just have a basic level of respect for other points of views other than youre own? We all can argue whatever we want but the only truth is that niether side can prove that they are right.

ok here is the question. i'm not being ignorant or anything. i'm just wondering.
I was thinking, christains say there is that God has many names: God, the holy spirit, the father, Jesus Christ, and that's all i remember. but what confuses me is that isn't (according to your beliefs)Jesus Christ God's son? so why cal him God? i mean isn't that different? So can Jesus have a son too?
Please though, i'm not an atheist, i believe in God too, but i don't understand this about the christains. i know he accepts prayers and all, but do you consider him God?
Thanks in advance.
