If someone swears in the name of Allah he will never do this bad thing again (e.g cursing masturbating, stealing, drinking etc.), but he still does it, what is the ruling if he seeks forgiveness? I have asked a different question about this and they all say for recompensation, free a Muslim slave, feed 10 poor people or clothing them, and if you can't do this, fast for three days and seek forgiveness.
What I'm really saying is do these recompensation acts must be done for each time he breaks it or as a whole?
Help me, guys. I did something bad and I swore in the name of Allah I will never do it again, but I have repeated it many times. Please, do I recompense for each act or as a whole? I really didn't mean to do it and I am afraid, I seek Allah S.W.T's forgiveness. Please, help me.
