I've never understood why "pro-life" Christians (does that make the rest of us are somehow "anti-life"?) feel they have the right to protest outside abortion clinics, as though one person's faith takes precedence over another person's freedom over their own body.
So I'm just asking for a little fair play - would anybody object terribly if we started setting up modern sterile mobile abortion clinics outside churches, setting one person's personal freedom over her body over another person's faith. Only fair, surely?

Thanks for the quote Ezekiel. Doesn't seem quite so pro-life when commanding Abraham to kill Isaac to prove his faith though, or allowing the Slaughter of the Innocents, come to that. And while we're about it, isn't he a killer of his progeny himself? Aren't we taught that he "sent" his only begotten son to DIE for our sins? And this was no potential baby, this was a fully-grown man, soooo...remind me how he's pro-life again?

I am pro life and I truly do not care about your body and what you do to it, my concern is for the life inside you that is being tortured to death, or thrown in a trash can until it draws its last breath. I know you say that does not happen, but you are so wrong. I have been a foster parent for years and two of my infants were born during an abortion. Both had extensive medical problems at birth, but are doing great today. One of the infant was found by cleaning staff after the clinic was closed for the night. The birth mother has no idea her aborted child is entering Kindergarten this year.
So, yes I am pro life, I have never protested outside a clinic. I have never spoken words of anger and disgust to friends and family members I am fully aware have had abortions. I have and will never allow my faith to take precedence over another persons freedom. But, I am pro life. I fully believe abortion and suicide are the most selfish acts a person can commit. It is truly thinking of yourself and only yourself. The amazing thing is many studies show that a huge percentage of suicide victims are former abortion patients, so what does that tell you about fair play.

You know, turn-about is fair, and it is a free country. So please, feel free to set up those abortion clinics outside our churches. I've never participated in a protest before, so I'd be curious see one.
Re. your other questions, when people protest outside an abortion clinic, they are protesting the baby being murdered thanks to the mother's freedom. Just because abortion is legal doesn't mean it's morally right. It's also legal to have an affair when you're married. It's also legal (in fact, it's required by law) for a doctor to keep a person's HIV status secret from the patient's spouse. Does all that sound morally right?

Im not sure what country you are in. Here in America (where Im from) anyone can pretty much protest anything. Be it an abortion clinic, some store, even a church (ive seen it done) So I would assume if the abortion mobile was staffed with certified doctors and staff and fit the regulations that make abortion legal in America there should be no problem with it.

Nothing is stopping abortionists from setting up shop wherever they think they'll make a buck. no, what you propose would not be fair because it presumes that only Christians protest outside abortion clinics.
By the way, abortionists and gay activists have protested outside - and inside - churches, desecrating Communion, throwing used condoms, et cetera. I wonder why they never visit mosques.

You got it all wrong. We are fighting for the innocent and helpless child that is being murdered at the hands of terrorists. A baby is NOT a fingernail, lock of hair or a malignant growth. A baby is a precious child of God!
Is God pro-life? LET'S SEE!!!
Deu 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, [that] I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

The protests against abortion clinics are not Christian protests, though many of the people do happen to be Christian . 82% of the U.S. is Christian.
Don't blame the Christian church because people object to the murder of innocent babies.

Abortion isn't about freedom over one's own body. It is about freedom to destroy someone else's body - your son or daughter's body - and no such freedom can validly exist.

Well that's a creative idea and it illustrates beautifully the futility of both protestations.
