We lived before we came to earth - we live in mortality here on earth - and when we die, our spirits will enter the spirit world and await the resurrection. At the time of the resurrection, our spirit and body will reunite, and we will be judged and received into a kingdom of glory. The glory we inherit will depend on the depth of our conversion and our obedience to the Lord's commandments.
It's a beautifully simple and simply beautiful plan our Father in Heaven has in place.

I believe the Bible is God's word. I believe that by accepting Jesus as one's Savior that one can live forever in heaven. Many will choose to reject Him. The Bible says this. Satan uses many forces including the media to try to get people not to believe. The result of not accepting Jesus in an eternity in hell. Deciding whether to accept Jesus as one's Savior is the most important decision a person will ever make.

This life doesn't just end. You just haven't discovered it for yourself yet, and I do not mean to condemn you or anything but what your saying is basically that the world is flat, to those of us that know other wise. No matter how hard you try to convince yourself or others, it does not change the facts to those of us who know. But I personally do not feel the need to convince you of the reality of the afterlife. Because if God wants you to discover the truth, I for one know HE will make it known to you. Take care and may God bless you spiritually.

There's a Heaven and Hell in the after life. To get into Heaven, you have to accept Jesus as your savior. Then, you have to repent all your sins. If you do sin, you must pray and ask for forgiveness. We all need Jesus in our life because we've all sinned.

I am well aware of my mortality. One day my body will die. But my spirit will live on. Don't you want more out of life than what's presently being offered to you? I sure do.

Your right about life ending once you die, you neither go to heaven or hell and of course you don't float around as energy or a spirit till the end of time. Here is some information.
Some people can not come to terms with there life ending for good because Jehovah put in us the desire to live forever.
WHAT REALLY HAPPENS AT DEATH?
What happens at death is no mystery to Jehovah, the Creator of the brain. He knows the truth, and in his Word, the Bible, he explains the condition of the dead. Its clear teaching is this: When a person dies, he ceases to exist. Death is the opposite of life. The dead do not see or hear or think. Not even one part of us survives the death of the body. We do not possess an immortal soul or spirit.
After Solomon observed that the living know that they will die, he wrote: “As for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.” He then enlarged on that basic truth by saying that the dead can neither love nor hate and that “there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in [the grave].” (Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6, 10) Similarly, Psalm 146:4 says that when a man dies, “his thoughts do perish.” We are mortal and do not survive the death of our body. The life we enjoy is like the flame of a candle. When the flame is put out, it does not go anywhere. It is simply gone.
WHAT JESUS SAID ABOUT DEATH
Jesus Christ spoke about the condition of the dead. He did so with regard to Lazarus, a man whom he knew well and who had died. Jesus told his disciples: “Lazarus our friend has gone to rest.” The disciples thought that Jesus meant that Lazarus was resting in sleep, recovering from an illness. They were wrong. Jesus explained: “Lazarus has died.” (John 11:11-14) Notice that Jesus compared death to rest and sleep. Lazarus was neither in heaven nor in a burning hell. He was not meeting angels or ancestors. Lazarus was not being reborn as another human. He was at rest in death, as though in a deep sleep without dreams. Other scriptures also compare death to sleep. For example, when the disciple Stephen was stoned to death, the Bible says that he “fell asleep.” (Acts 7:60) Similarly, the apostle Paul wrote about some in his day who had “fallen asleep” in death.—1 Corinthians 15:6.
What Is God’s Purpose for the Earth?
Why did Jehovah create the earth? (1, 2)
Why is the earth not a paradise now? (3)
What will happen to wicked people? (4)
In the future, what will Jesus do for the sick? the elderly? the dead? (5, 6)
To share in the future blessings, what do you need to do? (7)
Jehovah created this earth so that humans could enjoy living on it forever. He wanted the earth always to be inhabited by righteous, happy people. (Psalm 115:16; Isaiah 45:18) The earth will never be destroyed; it will last forever.—Psalm 104:5; Ecclesiastes 1:4.
Before God made man, He chose one small part of the earth and made it into a beautiful paradise. He called it the garden of Eden. It was here that he put the first man and woman, Adam and Eve. God purposed for them to have children and fill the whole earth. Gradually they would have made the entire earth into a paradise.—Genesis 1:28; 2:8, 15.
Adam and Eve sinned by deliberately breaking God’s law. So Jehovah put them out of the garden of Eden. Paradise was lost. (Genesis 3:1-6, 23) But Jehovah has not forgotten his purpose for this earth. He promises to make it into a paradise, where humans will live forever. How will he do this?—Psalm 37:29.
Before this earth can become a paradise, wicked people must be removed. (Psalm 37:38) This will happen at Armageddon, which is God’s war to end wickedness. Next, Satan will be imprisoned for 1,000 years. This means that no wicked ones will be left to spoil the earth. Only God’s people will survive.—Revelation 16:14, 16; 20:1-3.
Then Jesus Christ will rule as King over this earth for 1,000 years. (Revelation 20:6) He will gradually take sin away from our minds and bodies. We will become perfect humans just as Adam and Eve were before they sinned. Then there will be no more sickness, old age, and death. Sick people will be cured, and old persons will become young again.—Job 33:25; Isaiah 33:24; Revelation 21:3, 4.
During Jesus’ Thousand Year Reign, faithful humans will work to turn the whole earth into a paradise. (Luke 23:43) Also, millions of dead ones will be resurrected to human life on the earth. (Acts 24:15) If they do what God requires of them, they will continue to live on earth forever. If not, they will be destroyed forever.—John 5:28, 29; Revelation 20:11-15.
God’s original purpose for the earth will thus succeed. Would you like to share in these future blessings? If so, you need to keep learning about Jehovah and obeying his requirements. Attending meetings at the local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses will help you to do so.—Isaiah 11:9; Hebrews 10:24, 25.
For more information go to www.watchtower.org and at this site you will get instructions on how you can get a home bible study in your area. Once you get a home bible study you will learn the truth about Hell (their is no such place). Heaven, (only Angels that are spirit creatures will live in heaven. And there is only a set amout of humans that will be taken from the earth and they will be transformed from human bodies to heavenly spirit bodies.) And you will continue to learn that earth will never be destroyed because Jehovah God intented for earth to be inhabited by righteous human being. Those righteous humans will make the earth into a paradise that will be inhabited for all eternity and they will enjoy perfect health in that paradise new world.
