if you are not with jesus you are against him also thows who are approved by the world are denied by the lord

so if the world approves you then god dissaproves you meaning you are against him because the world is of the flesh and what the flesh wants is in contrast to what the soul wants and the soul wants what god wants so if you are approved by the world then you are probley not doing right things you should be doing so you are against god becuase you cannot be luke warm meaning you are neather hot nor cold meaning there is no neutrel to god you are earther with him or against him, you cannot do what the world wants you to do and also do what god wants you to do

he or she may have said less than that buts its the general concept

I started out wishing to bring the best for all living beings including humans, animals, and even plants etc. I shared with God my dream to bring happiness and peace into my own and others lives. To see God in everything and smile with ecstasy of God's grace, watching the amazing beauty of life. I wanted the poor to be well fed, so they have enough resources to live happily. I wanted animals to be treated with respect and families to be united. I asked for God. I made certain decisions where I chose the happiness of others over mine. I had a negative setback like almost everyone in life but this only harmed me usually, even then I continued striving for the truth, God, and knowledge and love. Now I am at a point where I am facing the consequences for neglecting myself because of the need to bring bliss into the lives of others. I hope God listens and saves me and blesses me. Will you pray for me so God gives me his sweetest grace and saves my hard work. I have much more to do in life.

For example, "an eye for an eye" isn't.
Also, I believe there are other rules and beliefs based on the Old Testament which are followed by the Jewish people to this day, but rejected by Christians.
I am not interested in religious debates, or what is right or wrong, I am genuinely interested to know the answer, so please stick to the question and give me facts, thank you.

When Christ came upon Pharisees about to stone an adulteress to death he asked them what measure they were judging her by--they answered by the "Laws of Moses"--the word of God--Christ didn't accept that excuse--why do Christians???
Leviticus 20:10 And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that
committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
John 8:3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery;
and when they had set her in the midst,
8:4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
8:5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
8:6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
8:7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that
is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

The word "demon" comes from the Greek word "daimon" or "daemon," which originally referred to beings of divine, godly nature; gods, not evil spirits.

Why do people say "demon" is evil?

From Wikipedia:

"Transhumanism is an international intellectual and cultural movement supporting the use of new sciences and technologies to enhance human mental and physical abilities and aptitudes, and ameliorate what it regards as undesirable and unnecessary aspects of the human condition, such as stupidity, suffering, disease, aging and involuntary death."

So, how do you feel about the subject considering your standpoint on spirituality and religion?

Why is it that you can pick and choose what to believe and not to believe in the bible? How do you decide that this is true and this isn't? I asked a question a couple days ago about the verse in the OT about stoning your daughter if she wasn't a virgin. And I got replies ranging from, thats the old testament, we don't follow that, to that is only jewish law, if you are not jewish, it does not apply. So why do you not follow the old testament, it is all gods law correct? And yes, I know jesus died in the NT for the sins, but that does not change the fact that it is all supposedly gods word, so you need to heed all the advice given to it. So, the question is, how do you chose what to believe and what not to believe in the bible? Is it simply if it makes you look bad, that you deny it?

“Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great.”
- Quran, Sura 4:34

“The male shall have the equal of the portion of two females.” – Quran, Sura 4:11

PS: Please don't deny that Islamic law values men more than women, the proof is in the Quran.

For a little change of pace, what is it about you that makes you unique and special? It's easy to find fault with others and with ourselves but a bit harder to find the good things. So what's good about you? My 'special' quality, I think, is my ability to see the humor in just about everything. Hope that doesn't also make me a fool. :) How about you?

I mean, they all want the "End of the World" to come, so that they can "meet their maker" and be with God.

But do you think that is why they are working towards a One World Government and the Mark of the Beast?
I know any person who doesn't get the computer chip implanted in their hand or forehead will be denied travel, food, purchases, working, etc.

I think they are trying to create a self-fullfilled prophesy. What are your thoughts?

A lot of religious people on answers, answer religious questions about jesus, the bible, god, etc. as if they knew what they were stating was a total fact. Most of those people act as if they absolutely knew those things were true. Just as I would say that 2 plus 2 equals 4 because I know for a fact that it is true. I understand you people being religious, but why do you have to think that your religious beliefs are absolutely factual? Can't you just accept that they are beliefs, and have not been proven? That is part of the problem, you all assume that everything you have been taught is correct. Anyway, any explanations?

On the CNN God's Muslim Warriors special, something very interesting was said. Apparently, when the Imam *Muslim messiah* comes, Christians and Jews will oppose him, but then guess who will come along and tell everyone to follow the Imam? Yours truly- Jesus Christ. Does anyone else find this extremely hilarious? Hilarious and downright SCARY?

Two young boys were excessively mischievous. Their parents could be sure that if any mischief occurred in town, their boys were probably involved in some way. The mother then heard that clergyman in town had been successful in disciplining children and later asked him for help.

The clergyman agreed to speak to the children and asked to see them individually. The 8 year-old went to meet him first. The clergyman sat the boy down and asked him sternly, "Where is God?"

The boy made no response, so the clergyman repeated the question in an even sterner tone. "Where is God?”

Again the boy made no attempt to answer, so the clergyman raised his voice even more and shook his finger in the boy's face. "Where is God?"

Frightened, the boy ran directly home, slamming his door and hiding in his closet. His older brother followed him into the closet and asked, "What happened?"

The younger brother replied, "We are in big trouble this time. God is missing, and they think we did it!"

He supposidly gave us the ten commandments as guidlines to live our lives by as a basic set of guidlines. Yet he could not follow these guidlines himself. All throughout the bible God murdered people left and right. In fact according to the bible hes probably murdered more people than anyone throughout all of history. How many people do you think the flood killed alone?

Ok from what we know about earth and the universe it makes the most sense to me not to believe in any god, especially not the ones of the organized religions today.

However, when you think about it there is so much we don't know about the universe. Its beginning, how far does space extend, the existence of matter and how EVERYTHING started. I've been thinking, do we really have enough information to come to any conclusion at all about things like this. Perhaps it makes more sense to assume that there is no evidence and to become an agnostic.

I was wondering what other atheists think about this.
