Actually you are wrong about that a little. Not all Christians hate pagans, and most pagans do not hate Christians. Most Pagans have no problem with Christians or Christianity, but almost all pagans have a problem with fundamentalists who push their beliefs on other people who do not share those beliefs, including the people who constantly have to tell everyone that if they do not believe exactly what they believe are going to hell. These people even sometimes say the same things to other Christians. Most pagans have no problems with people of any beliefs so long as they respect the beliefs of other people, and are not forcing it on them. Many pagans are also very studied in other forms of belief, as an effort to understand other people.

I don't hate Christians.

But, to be fair-- the Christians did take Pagan gods and make them into the Devil. And that was *after* they tried to declare Pagans evil and have them wiped off the planet. Oh and a lot of Pagans-- since their religion is 8000+ years old-- do *not* believe in God since their religion outdates the beginning of Christian mythology.

So, they did start the fight in an effort of "righteousness" and all.

That said, my two best friends are a Christian and a Mormon. We all have respect for each others' beliefs and have never had a problem. We'd all be okay if someone would teach tolerance.

I'm a Christian. A lot of my friends are Pagans. Most of the Christians and Pagans I personally know get along just fine. I don't practice Paganism myself, but when other people do, it's not a threat to me or my own beliefs. There are a couple of Christian groups locally that have had good relations and interactions with the Pagan community.

I don't hate Pagans. My brother used to be a Wiccan, and I loved him very much. They actually have quite a few values that I respect. Just because they believe differently than I do, doesn't mean I hate them. I love them as individuals. People can choose to disagree respectfully.

As a Christian, I'm supposed to always be prepared to give an answer for the hope I have in Christ and to share my faith with others by sharing the good news. And GOOD news is to be shared in a spirit of love - not shoved down anyone's throat. When we shove, we only shove people further away from God. Besides, it's not my job to convert anyone. Only God can change a person's heart.

-----EDIT-----
Mathaowny, today's "Pagan" is much different than those considered pagan in the Bible. I don't know of any Pagans today who sacrifice their infants to Molech by burning them alive, and I don't know of anyone today who would think that those who practiced such detestable acts would not be deserving of the death penalty.

As you may know I am Muslim. I have Christian friends and my family is mostly Christian. We don't hate each other. Even in Gaza where there is fighting all the time there are Palestinians who have Israeli friends. This hate is between governments and not people for the most part. I have enough trouble trying to learn what I believe as opposed to what someone else believes. I know it sounds corny, but can't we all just get along????

I'm a Christian and one of my best friends is a Pagan. We respect each other's beliefs.

Some people try to force things down other people's throats because that's the kind of people they are, not because of theri religion.

I don't know why. As Christians, we are to "Hate the sin, not the sinner" and "love our neighbors as ourselves" so to me, Christians shouldn't hate Pagans or anyone. Yeah, I might think they are wrong, but I'm going to be nice about it. I'm not going to be rude. But I know people of all faiths that are like that, and I don't understand either. I guess that's just the way it is.

One of my best friends is a CHristian and goes to church each week. She is very into her faith. She doesn't hate me or my other Pagan friends and I don't hate her or her christian friends.. We've gone to each others regligious services and it's great! This statement may have been directed at those who are so paranoid and brainwashed that they need someone to tell them who to dislike and what to believe.

As a Pagan I respect the beliefs of others including Christians.I am rude to them only when they are offensive about my beliefs-tell me I'm going to burn in their hell etc.
