I mean, they all want the "End of the World" to come, so that they can "meet their maker" and be with God.

But do you think that is why they are working towards a One World Government and the Mark of the Beast?
I know any person who doesn't get the computer chip implanted in their hand or forehead will be denied travel, food, purchases, working, etc.

I think they are trying to create a self-fullfilled prophesy. What are your thoughts?

The U.S government, with the help of it's Puppet Mainstream Media, are terrorizing it's citizens with all this ''terrorism'' nonsense. They are doing this to create enough fear so that personal freedom will not matter anymore, people will be too scared to care... the media publicises this load of cr*p to such an extent that it has almost become like a daily routine for the people, to know what's new with the ''terrorism issue''. Let me tell you I am pretty sure more people have been killed by this Government, whether U.S soldiers in iraq or Iraqi Citizens, than any terrorist can ever achieve.

Dear lisa425lisa,

First of all the Bible is quite clear that nobody knows the day of Jesus' return.

Secondly- what proof do you have that it is Christians that are working towards a One World Government and the Mark of the Beast.

The Bible teaches its readers what will happen during the end times so that people will not be ignorant about what will happen and moreover- will warn others and live in a way to share Christ's love with others.

The Bible actually teaches that when Christ comes back Christians will be raptured out- and thereafter the Anti-Christ will show-up and will propose a false plan of peace - at which time the mark of the beast will come into play.

Christians would have no interest in participating in these things, because they know what a horrible time of judgment it will be- and they are doing everything they can to keep people from facing that as opposed to trying to promote that.

Do Christians want to see Jesus return? Yes. But the ones that know their Bibles know that there is nothing they can do to make that happen any faster. They live with the expectation that Jesus can come back at any time.

As a Christian you wouldn't want to get a chip implanted into you- so why would they be helping to produce chips? Having a chip planted would show that person has an Allegiance to the Anti-Christ (the key word being Anti- just by definition- it's the very opposite of what a Christian would be doing or would be for).

Kindly,

nickster

Who are the Christians working toward this?

Your question is similar to one I asked before about if obvious events from Revelation began to happen (like the One World Order) what would happen? Would the Christians try to stop the events from taking place, or would they encourage them?

Christians believe that they'll meet God when they die anyways though, so the end of the world isn't a requirement to that (although it should be based on the Old Testament).

Anyways, it's an interesting question. I can certainly see how some Christians might want the end to come, but I don't think they're actively working towards it occuring. Afterall, if they're wrong about things then they've screwed themselves and the world over.

Well anyone who can see the silver lining in the cloud of a nuclear bomb that wipes out Israel, because it is a sign of his imminent coming, is suspect of this.

While the rest of humanity works towards peace, and understanding and improving the world through better health etc, there are some who feel that the world has to get worse to preempt the big guy in the sky to come down.

You have been misinformed. The "end of the world" isn't what you have been told. According to the Bible, first Jesus will return and take everyone who believes in Him to Heaven with Him. That is called the "rapture". Then there will be the anti-christ, who starts the one-world government and the mark of the beast.

I have never heard of any Christians who are working towards a one-world government and the mark of the beast.

No, how can it be self-fulfilled if the Anti-Christ will come and commit this act?
On Geddon, we will see who's gonna see Pearly Gates and Golden Streets, or Fire and Brimstone.

EDIT: No simon, below me. If we are bringing it about, then we have to be right. If the world ends with no such event THEN Christians are screwed

I agree. It seems that the christians are trying to force prophesies to come true. Some people suspect that the vatican is holding back information that would literally destroy the church and all denominations of it.

Christians want peace and tolerance. How is that going to make the 'end of the world' come any sooner? If anyone is bringing the end sooner it is the non-believers. They bash every-ones Religion instead of showing tolerance. They constantly start conflicts by insulting God and Christians. Why can't you just accept that we have our beliefs and you have yours?
