the devil was perfect, he is jealous of Jehovah God, the devil wants people to worship him, not Jehovah God. so the devil made himself. devil means slander. he was not the devil when Jehovah created him.

Yes God created Satan, he created everything. Why would He do that? He has a purpose. He gave everyone free will. He wants people to Love HIM because they WANT to, not because HE created them preprogrammed to LOVE Him. Even Satan has a purpose in this world and one day he will be brought to his knees and everyone will see the truth. The purpose is to ultimately glorify God!

yes He made Satan.. Lucifer used to be his name though. and he was perfect. but then there's free will. God didn't put him in charge because he didn't trust him. He did. Lucifer wanted to be greater than God..he wanted God to bow down to him. and basically that's how he became.. well.. everything God is not.

God, who is perfect and everything he makes is perfect, made Satan who is so imperfect that he is the embodiment of all that is wrong and evil.
