Just like the many did who laughed at Noah but was banging on the door to be let in as they started to drown..

GOD gives us clues to look about on this planet that Jesus is on his way, and he wants us to be prepared to be on that boat not to miss it

If you understood the Parable of the Fig Tree then you might understand current events and prophecy..

GOD did not set out for us to live in darkness but to see the light?

Are you in the dark? or have you seen the light?

Live like your dying....

God restores life when we are spiritually dead so that we can bear fruit to God's glory and share that life with others.

I would like to hear your experience or perspective on this question:)

...why are we so prone to sunburn? Why do people go bald? Wouldn't teeth be better in one plate-like ridge instead of pieces that need flossing and brushing? Why is the heart so prone to failure?

The reason most people don't go to church is because they've BEEN to church.

Ok, this is a serious question so I am looking for Christians to answer. Here's my situation. I am 23 years old and I am a virgin. I made the choice a long time ago to wait until I was married before having sex. It really hasn't been that hard for me to resist. However, I am now dating a guy that I really like. It's been about 7 weeks now and we had "the talk" last weekend. I told him that I'm a virgin and that I'm saving myself for marriage and he was so wonderful about it. He totally respects that and even said he admires me for it. He is 29 and is not a virgin. While he is willing to wait for sex, I don't want our relationship to be boring, especially because he is more experienced. And to set the record straight, he is in no way pressuring me to do ANYTHING. He is fine with just kissing. But I guess my question is, how far can you go with a person and still be a good Christian and save sex until marriage?

Please, anyone who believes in the power of prayer please pray for him in this time of need. I don't mention his name nor the tragidy because I don't think it's wise to disclose someones personal matters but all I ask is for you to pray for him. Thank you SO very much and I hope that you all have a blessed day. God bless!

I would like to know something about your beliefs.

I met a woman recently in my apartment complex. She has a small dog who is fascinated by my cats. She would stop and look at my cats every time she took him for a walk. Panda (the dog) would get so excited. I introduced myself one day when she went by. She invited me to come down and visit her at her apartment anytime. I went down to her apartment last week for a visit. It was at this time that I discovered that she is a former Jehovah’s witness. She told me that she was kicked out of the Kingdom hall because of a sin that she committed. She is now trying to return. Because she is trying to return, she told me that we could not be friends. She said that she cannot have any friends who are not witnesses, or she will not be able to return.

My questions are this:

If someone sins, are they really removed from the Kingdom hall? Are they not given a chance to be forgiven?

Are you not able to have friends outside of your religion?

I am asking only to understand the differences between your beliefs and mine. I am a Christian. If someone in my church sins, they are forgiven if they repent. If that sin is a compromising sin such as adultery, then they are asked to step down from any position that they may hold in the church. (I.e. teacher, deacon, elder, etc.) Unless someone is a danger to others, they are not asked to leave the church. Even then, they are told if they get help, they may come back. Also, we are allowed to have friends of ANY belief. Even if they do not believe in God. We do not have to overlook or agree with their beliefs, but that does not mean that we cannot associate with them. We might show them the way, as they are the lost lambs.

In any case, it bothered me that this happened. It all seemed odd to me because of the way I have been taught. If any of the Jehovah’s witness can help me to understand I would be grateful.

What is this religious tugging that keeps you coming back to basically hear the same thing day after day. The message is the same. Faith, Love, and peace.

Hebrews 11:3
'Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear".

Colossians 1:16
"For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him".

1 Timothy 6:12
"Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life..."

John 3:16

Romans 10:9

Source: King James Version(Holy Bible)

Have faith dear friends in God.

Why do you keep coming back to read more? Why not Politics, Sports, Marriage or even "SCIENCE". Why" RELIGION"?

I hear a lot of questions and answers based on peoples own interpretation of the bible.

The bible itself says its not the sole authority and that the pillar of truth is actually the church. There are multiple historical documents that show what the early chrisitans believed about the bible.

So quoting the bible must not be authoritative. Does the bible need to be viewed through Catholic tradition. I mean given its the chruch that Jesus founded and has all that understanding and wisdom.

I am keen to understand because when you interpret the bible according to your own understanding you come to your own interpretation. You come to one and I come to the other. What sort of system is that,

There are now almost 40,000 denominations outside the "Church" this is hardly the one chuch Jesus spoke about.

Dont use biblical quotes because I have already shown how they are irrelevant. Its not God the father, God the Son and God the Holy bible.

To believe that after you die,all you do is go into the ground&be consumed by maggots and other insects.

rather than

An eternity where there is a true and living God that cares about how you lived your life&hopes you accepted His son so you could be in Heaven with Him.

How exactly does that belief give you spirit and mind comfort and peace?

The Tate Family

Do you know how many members of the Tate family belong to your church?

There is old man Dic-Tate who wants to run everything, while Uncle Ro-Tate tries to change everything.

There's sister Agi-Tate who stirs up plenty of trouble, with help from her husband, Irri-Tate.

Whenever new projects are suggested, Hesi-Tate and his wife, Vege-Tate, want to wait until next year.

Then there is Aunt Imi-Tate, who wants our church to be like all the others.

Devas-Tate provides the voice of doom, while Poten-Tate wants to be a big shot.

But not all members of the family are bad.

Brother Facili-Tate is quite helpful in church matters. And a delightful, happy member of the family is Miss Felici-Tate. Cousins Cogi-Tate and Medi-Tate always thinks things over and lend helpful, steady hands.

And of course there is the white sheep of the family, Ampu-Tate, who has completely cut himself off from the church.

How about it - do you know anyone in the Tate family?

I joined a growth group through my church about 6 months ago. For the summer, we took a "break". Group starts up again in a couple weeks and i'm torn on whether or not I should continue to go...please help.

I love group meetings. The topics we talk about are very interesting and I like talking about them. Here's my issue. My church groups people by life station, we are young families. Trouble is, they are all couples and most of them have money. I am married, but my husband doesn't attend and we are the poorest of the poor.

Now, let me say that I am thrilled to stay home with my kids even if it means suffering financially. I am not unhappy with my situation.

I just feel that it's not right that I go to these meetings feeling embarrassed about hanging out in thier nice house listening to them talk about their problems. They work together(as a couple) on things, I work alone (my husband feels that working is enough). What should I do?

What should I do?
