A moderate Muslim is the ideal Muslim, believe it or not. Neither the Koran nor the habits and life of Muhammad encourage fundamentalism or extremism. Thus, a moderate Muslim can be defined as a person who practices Islam, accepts others as they are, encourages peace, and promotes the true ideology of Islam through actions and words.
You asked how many different types of Muslims are there... That's a strangely worded question. If you are referring to sects in Islam, well there are many but I am not sure of the exact number, of which Sunni and Shii'te are the largest respectively. If you talking in terms of 'extremists' and 'moderates', then think of the different types of humans that are out there in this world. Aside from extremists and fundamentalists, there are moderates, securalists, hypocrites, etc. It's the same as with the different types of Christians, really.

Moderate Muslims are the opposite of Muslim extremists, basically.

"While intelligent people can disagree about how "innocent" the theology of Islam is, a willingness to admit the obvious is a basic requirement of religious moderation: Any Muslim who will not concede that there is a death-cult forming in the Muslim world is either part of that cult or an obscurantist—not a religious moderate."

Well i suppose you would name me a slight christian for the reason that it's not that i am an intensive christian by way of the worlds phrases. However this time period variety of offends me. I could name myself an intensive christian for the reason that i do the whole thing that i beleive is proper. Saying i'm slight is like pronouncing i'm variety of a christian however just a little bit. The most effective change that relatively is among the phrases slight and radical in these days is almost that moderates dont blow stuff up i suppose. However, if any person have been blowing stuff up or killing individuals "within the identify of christ" then i could be very hesitant to name them a christian in any respect regardless of whether they name themselves a christian - that's now not very christian-like

Muslims are submissive and allow tradition into their personal space. Some people are into wanting their way alone where there are other lifeforms, this is not tollerance but forgiveness. So being sincere, rather than a hipocrit, concerns trusting that which makes another person a better one. This is why there are different religions, i.e. purpose does not define guilt, humor does.
Given a person shows good will, he is not a partisan. Insidious people like to speak of politics and religion to help their deviations into mass consumption, including sexual restraint.
If you like your particular form of life it does not make that of other people a lesser one, let us not be speculative with people, we are not statistics, for Christ´s sake.
Peace be with you. Agnus Dei.

My fiancee is a moderate Muslim. If she were a US citizen, she'd be a peace-nik liberal, and she will be one day.

There are as many types of Muslims as there are Christians.
