The reason most people don't go to church is because they've BEEN to church.

I agree. I grew up going to church every Sunday & all Holy days and made all sacraments including marriage in the church. After my marriage went sour after only 5 mos, I went to the church for an annullment and was told it would cost $3500.00 (upfront of course) and I could expect it to take 3 years. My ex was pushing me for a quick divorce that cost $375.00 - I was 20 years old, so you do the math. I am now shunned and deemed unsuitable to receive sacraments such as communion & confession. I will never take church or religion seriously again because I was regected for such a foul reason: I refused to pay them to scratch my name off of the married list and put it on the unmarried list.

No
There are many reasons people are un churched.
Certainly being 'turned off' by the things they have and seen and heard while there. Misunderstanding something or just meeting a well meaning -albeit uninformed parishioner (whew !)would cause a person to not want to go back to a particular church.
But this is a weak reason to give for not attending a church .
People who don't go to church are being lazy and dishonest to give such a flippant answer-they need to think just a little deeper than just blaming someone else.

No.
The reason most people don't go to church is that they went to a country club meeting trying to pass itself off as church.

Maybe. I'm a Christian (fundie!) and I don't go to church. I don't like the modern "churches" that are more like Disneyland than a study and worship.

yes... and it is because when one evaluates as many of them as one can, one always ends up with them not making any sense.

this site lists and evaluates many of the churches and most of them are mind control CULTS.

Unfortunately, I would have to agree on this one...

Sad, that most people don't want to see the truth...
