Did I not tell you earlier that a Jew is such a noble, precious jewel that God and all the angels dance when he farts?---Martin Luther

“What then shall we Christians do with this damned, rejected race of Jews?
First, their synagogues should be set on fire, and whatever does not burn up should be covered or spread over with dirt so that no one may ever be able to see a cinder or stone of it. And this ought to be done for the honour of God and of Christianity, in order that God may see that we are true Christians.
Secondly, their homes should be likewise broken down and destroyed.
Thirdly, they should be deprived of their prayerbooks and talmuds in which such idolatry, lies, cursing and blasphemy are taught.
Fourthly, their rabbis must be forbidden under threats of death to teach anymore.” – Martin Luther

“If I find a Jew to baptize, I shall lead him to the Elbe bridge, hang a stone around his neck, and push him into the water, baptizing him with the name of Avraham!.. I cannot convert the Jews. Our lord Christ did not succeed in doing so; but I can close their mouths so that there will be nothing for them to do but to lie upon the ground.” – Martin Luther

“I hope I shall never be so stupid as to be circumcised; I would rather cut off the left breast of my Catherine and of all women.” --- Martin Luther

“If we are to remain unsullied by the blasphemy of the Jews and not wish to take part in it, we must be separated from them and they must be driven out of the country.” – Martin Luther

Jesus did not call them Abraham's children, but a "brood of vipers" [Matt. 3:7]. Oh, that was too insulting for the noble blood and race of Israel, and they declared, "He has a demon' [Matt 11:18]. Our Lord also calls them a "brood of vipers"; furthermore in John 8 [:39,44] he states: "If you were Abraham's children ye would do what Abraham did.... You are of your father the devil. It was intolerable to them to hear that they were not Abraham's but the devil's children, nor can they bear to hear this today.------Martin Luther

Learn from this, dear Christian, what you are doing if you permit the blind Jews to mislead you. Then the saying will truly apply, "When a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into the pit" [cf. Luke 6:39]. You cannot learn anything from them except how to misunderstand the divine commandments...------Martin Luther

St. John Chrysostom: “I know that many people hold a high regard for the Jews and consider their way of life worthy of respect at the present time... This is why I am hurrying to pull up this fatal notion by the roots ... A place where a whore stands on display is a whorehouse. What is more, the synagogue is not only a whorehouse and a theater; it is also a den of thieves and a haunt of wild animals ... not the cave of a wild animal merely, but of an unclean wild animal ... When animals are unfit for work, they are marked for slaughter, and this is the very thing which the Jews have experienced. By making themselves unfit for work, they have become ready for slaughter. This is why Christ said: “as for my enemies, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them and slay them before me’ (Luke 19.27).”

Yup its that time. The 150 year anniversary of the Mormons bravest battle. When they took 150 prisoners off a wagon train they had forced into surrendering to them and shot all of them who were over the age of eight. That means women, kids over the age of eight (boys and girls), the wounded who survived the seige , and unarmed men. Then they stripped the dead of everything they had and stole all their property. (about 300 head of cattle and the wagons and supplies ect.) after a couple of years or so of being "cared for" by the Mormons , the Mormons finally got around to giving the 17 surviving kids back to their families in Arkansas.

When the Feds got wind of what happened, they investigated and set up a memorial at the site . When Brigham Young saw the memorial he said "Vengeance is mine and I have taken a little". What a kind , compassionate man.

Yeah - it doesn't belong here, but you are my peeps :)

So, his birthday is next month. A thing that would thrill him purple and...make him feel very good about returning to school this fall is an animated t-shirt. They've just come out with these. You can see one here: http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts/gaming/8e31/zoom/

My problem is - my son is very small. Size 8 youth. I have looked for hours and can only find them in adult sizes. If you have seen these for kids anywhere or have any ideas, can you please help? It would rock his world.

If anyone knew who Jesus was, they would know beyond a shadow of a doubt. How did they address Jesus?

Nearly (not all) Mormons I've spoken with claim the title of 'Christian' under the technical distinction that they follow Christ. A few have stated that this distinction is purely technical because the Christ they follow is different in essence and nature than the Christ of traditional, conservative, evangelical Christianity and even of semi-liberal or Catholic Christianity. Since there is no debate that the way groups who call themselves Christians define the Jesus they serve differently (Jehovah's Witnesses define Jesus as non-diety, Mormons define Jesus as diety but one of many (polytheism), traditional Christianity defines Jesus as diety but in a monotheistic sense, and the United Pentecostal Church defines Jesus as diety but in a modalistic sense), my questions are:

1) If Mormons are Christians are Christians Mormon? Why or why not?
2) Should the title a group uses to describe itself be based solely on technical definition or logical distinction? Why or why not?

When Hitler did such evils. He may have been a Catholic but not a very good one, he may have renouced his faith, etc.

He was basically worshipped as a God by his followers, and he had strange belief systems about a perfect race that lived in the center of the earth.

He burned churches, and other houses of worship, how could he have been a good Catholic?

The food is good for them and so is the LORD. Isn't this a good way to show Godly compassion?

The charity is inspired by the spirit of the LORD. Is there something wrong with children learning this?

No true Christian tells the children they must get saved or starve.

Both yin and yang?

Maybe some people only see one aspect and not the other, and some people think there are more than one god because of these two?

Angels carry the positive qualities...devils carry the negative only?

While humans carry both? albeit on a smaller scale?

I wouldn't think they would push anything on anyone, or try to change your beliefs.
But I'd think they would listen to any idea out of curiosity.

I wonder this because doesn't it break the celibacy vow that they are supposed to follow upon becoming ordained? And the Buddha stated that monks are supposed to be celibate and are not to engage in sexual intercourse. If they are unable to be celibate then they should not become ordained.

When it comes to solar evolution, you believe that the universe started in a big bang. From this kaotic mess, you believe that the universe became more organized and complex on it's own, even though this violates all known scientific laws.

The only option that makes sense is that God created the universe. But why are the Atheists not willing to even entertain this option?
