I haven't read any research on what % of scientists believe in a God or not. I do know that myself (zoology degree) and many other scientists are far from being atheists. An interesting list to look through of scientists that are not atheists in a variety of fields can be found at:

A good proportion are, especially the elite scientists. Scientists do not prove things, but are convinced by the evidence. Evolution is fact. Creationism is not supported by one scintilla of evidence.

Nope

I think there are a higher porportion of scientists that are atheists compared to the general population but mostly they're believers

Anyone with any wit would prefer to have something proven than just take it on faith

Would you take a drug that doctors believed worked rather than one that was tested

There are all sorts of religious people in science, but atheist scientists make up a large percent of them-larger percent than the percent of atheists in the total population.

No most scientists and doctors today are believers. It has been that way throughout history. Obviously believing in God is not an obstacle to the pursuit of scientific knowledge.
