They usually start comming in right after the question is posted so i read the first one first and then go from there down.

I go from top to bottom. If the first sentence of a response is stupid then I move on.

Almost always from the top down.
Hope springs eternal: I am always hoping that I will get more answers later. This rarely happens; some days it seems like all the answers happen withing 10 minutes or never happen at all.

Top down, but then I read 3 or 4 and refresh the page. Sadly, I find myself disappointed if there aren't any new answers. But I'm just a loser like that.
