The following notes taken from Dr Edward Blick writer of about 150 scientific papers and publications.
Acording to him we need CO2 for the growth of vegetation [trees to veggies]. Also everything can be blamed on the sunspots that causes global warming only for a season of time. He also listed 15 wrong assumptions made in the movie !!! Starting this year we will have the beginning lesser sunspot activity and the decrease of the warming trend !!!
What will Al Gore say then? A new movie, eh?

…weren’t allowed to vote? And the test for religiosity would be a simple question; on a scale of 1 to 10, how literally do you interpret the bible (or your particular religious text)?

Nelly asked us to name our religion and has 58 responses so far.

The religion of R&S as sampled at a random time:

Christian of some sort: 29.3 %
Atheist: 19%
Other / no clear answer: 19%
Catholic: 8.9%
Pagan/Wicca: 5.2%
Jewish: 5.2%
Buddist: 3.4%
Mormon: 3.4%
Muslim: 3.4%
Agnostic: 3.4%

I rounded up slightly, so it might be a little more than 100%.

Compared to national statistics, Christians are strongly underrepresented on this forum, and atheists are strongly overrepresented. The other statistics (possible underrepresentation in Catholicism) fall within the errors expected for a small survey and correcting for the populations of various religions within English-speaking countries.

Why do you think Christians are so underrepresented? I'll admit, I know a lot of religious people who are simply not willing or able to defend their point of view. Many don't want to argue about it.

Why so many atheists? Is it possible the US population of atheists is much more than we thought?

My husband told me 6/21 he doesn't know if he loves me anymore. Since then we've been getting along okay. He gets mad if I ask him if anything has changed and just wants me to ignore it. I'm just confused. I don't know how long to wait for him to decided whether he loves me or not. He won't say he loves me. When I tell him, he says "Okay" so now I don't say it at all. We don't really fight, we even laugh occasionally, but it's just so strange. (He said he could at least try to treat me like a wife??) It's so heartbreaking to tell the person you love more that anything that you love them, and not hear it back. Especially when you're married, have a baby, and have grown accustomed to it. I love him and I'm so desperate to keep this family together, but where do I take care of my heart and finally realize that enough is enough? This is my first marriage and I'm so confused. I want to stay, but it's so hard when your love isn't returned. I'm tired of having my heart stomped on repeatedly.

So many people have been brutally murdered in the name of "God", that it is hard to believe that any religion is right. I must have attended about seven different churches and always wanted to stand up and argue with the guy in the pulpit. Everyone thinks that their own religion is the "Right One" and argue, fight, insult, or even kill to try to get their point across, their point being their own reality. Reality is subject to perception, and every person perceives it differently, so reality is different from person to person. I know, very repetitive. I guess my question is, what makes anyone think that they know everything and are completely right in their own beliefs, and what makes them think others should die if they do not agree with them. (By the way, I was just joking about the adult baptisms being held under water until they stop kicking in my previous question. (Darkly funny image, though.)

Are we as Mormons considered Christians?

We don't believe that Jesus is the only son of God and the physical presence in the Trinity. We don't believe that God the Father is the mind and watchful eye and the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. This was taught by St. Patrick. We as Mormons don't acknowledge Christian doctrine as taught by St. Patrick.

Am I wrong or is that what makes us Mormony?

Forget science etc for the moment.

Im not asking if you believe in God, but whether you would like there to be a God.

Somewhere for you and your family/loved ones/friends to go and stay together after death.

Or would you prefer not to exsist?

Why do we fight against each other in the name of religion?

Being spiritual & being religious are very different. Religion is a tool meant to divide.

Tonight I received a phone call from my daughter-in-law... my 2 1/2 yr old grand-daughter had a 4 hr long nosebleed and they went to the hospital. Doctors took x-rays after many tests and exams and found that my grand-daughter has a rather large hole in her heart....and needs heart surgery!

Daughter-in-law says they are having a specialist come in to look at her later this week.

This dear grand-daughters' mom and dad have been keeping God at arms length...and need a MIRACLE for their daughter AND for their whole family.

Thankyou all! your sister in christ, ForeverSet

Dear friends, I strongly believe in God without a shadow of doubt. I believe in the living God with all my heart. I believe that god created the Heaven and the Earth and I believe without an iota of doubt that Jesus is coming again with all of his Holy Angels to take me and all believers with him back to heaven to a special place that he has prepared for his people. I believe that God is Creator. I believe that God is all powerful. I believe that God Created the Universe, and that he is sovereign. I believe that God is all knowing, and that he is present everywhere. I believe that he is my Savior from sin unto salvation. I believe that God, Justifies, and Sanctifies the sinner. I believe in God! Absolutely, Positively, and Intelligently.

I have open my heart and received Christ as my Personal Savior. He is Lord! Revelation 3:20.

Atheists and self proclaimed people of reason ask questions they don't want an answer to because their mind is already made up. Why?

Same goes for Christians and Muslims. They ask questions with no intention of listening to an answer contrary to their beliefs. Questions about faith, life, the Purpose. Why?

Are we trying to convert hard headed people with our rhetoric?

I have no preconceived notions on this. I'd like to know why? Although I do have an idea why Christians and Muslims do it.

Could one assume that the Lord uses Satan still in his capacity as an Angel? Even if that work is to be a "tempter" to test His children? God cannot be the "author of sin", but could He incorporate Satan's works to further His will?

Do you really think by teaching your children “bible facts” despite the mountain of evidence that disproves them, you are giving your children beneficial knowledge? What do you think will happen to your country if everyone in it did this, whilst other countries teach their children form a knowledge base that grows?
