I am Mormon and therefore celestial by birthright. But I've got that gangsta thing going on. Is that all that bad?

No man, the mormons got that gangsta feeling.

This one happened 150 years ago but I think its still relevant because Mitt Romneys Mormon church pardoned a terrorist mass murderer of Americans and protected the 100 or so other Mormons involved from federal prosecution!

It was September 11, 1857. A wagon train of 160 settlers on their way to California was massacred by a bunch of Mormons dressed in Indian clothes. 17 children under the age of 8 were spared and lived to tell their story.
1st. They dressed as Indians but after five days they changed tactics.
2nd. Then they went a bit away ,dressed back into normal clothes and acted like the Rescue Party who had negotiated a deal with the"Indians".
3rd, Then confiscated all the guns as part of the deal for "saving" the travellers and Mormon dissidents( who were the reason for the attack in the first place).
4th. Took everybody off a mile or so and shot them all. 2 men got away but were eventually tracked down and killed a day or so later.
5th. Took the 17 children they had not killed back with them to Salt Lake City.
6th. Got away with it. After a publicized trial, with the childrens own testimony admitted into the court, only 1 man was convicted and shot, John D. Lee. ( pardoned by Church 1960)

It ended up being called the Mountain Meadows Massacre. The first time in U.S. history that U.S. citizens were massacred on U.S. soil by religious wackos. This event is even more significant because the total U.S. population at the time was much smaller.(I dont know the exact numbers, maybe only 30 million or so) In todays numbers it would be around 1400 dead

Mormons aren't "celestial by birthright." Where did you invent that from? Mormons aren't even MORMONS until they get baptized, and they can't do that before age 8. THere is no such thing as a "celestial birthright."

Being in a gang is bad no matter what religion you are.

Read the bible again. Well if you are a gangsta but don't do anything negative like wickedness, blackmail, fight or kill, then maybe should ok.

Not all religious people are nice you know. Some could be crook, bastards, liars, cheaters and you name it.

All depend on what you do anyway. As long as no harm done to others.

VINCE - IN MY OPINION - You may call yourself a Mormon, but you obviously have no respect for your religion based on you previous question/statement of receiving new tablets.

You are a very disturbed individual and mocking God in any form is dangerous. You must be an Atheist because no true God-Fearing man would do what you do and not fear the wrath of God. This is not a game young man!

I have prayed for you, but you will probably mock that too!

Earlier on, you wanted to be Mormon church president. Is this a contradiction? Not really, Joseph had a gansta type group called the Danite band and was running for US president.

No offense - I'm old - do you mean real gangster, like Capone? - then no because your hurting too many people.
If you mean like in Hollywood - then yes, except you would not really be you, but your young, and that makes most things the young do OK. Just do not hurt anyone or loose control, and really have regrets (drunk driving, pregnancy, etc.)

HAVE FUN, make as many memories as you can.

Be who you are. If you're LDS, and got the gangsta look going on--more power to you. You were born LDS, you know what's good and what's wrong. Just be yourself and you'll be alright!
