Nope.. That expression substitute into in no way one I used.. My father and mom have been and are very non secular, using that expression and a variety of of alternative others could effect in getting ones mouth washed out with cleansing soap on a similar time as my mom suggested in a sing song voice "i will wash those be conscious out of that mouth." As a facet be conscious I choose Ivory cleansing soap.. The worst is Lava it takes continuously to get the grit from between your tooth and if looks like sandpaper on the tongue... Palmolive dish cleansing soap isn't undesirable and it in some cases produces bubbles once you burp ...

I still say "oh my god" sometimes. I don't attach any meaning to the words.
Some of my Catholic friends don't really care about using "the lord's" name in vain much either.

This question gets asked several times a day, and I have yet to understand the point of it.
If the answer is "yes" (which it most likely is) what exactly does that prove?

I enjoy every aspect of the life, so it is so comfortable to tell, or shout "oh my god" or to celebrate christmast festival, because like other fiction coming out from story, at least they must help to enrich our society. But i dont believe in god and worship him too much which is against our human democracy. Choose between a dinosaur and jesus, I feel science is devoting much proofs and a lot techniques so I choose it over jesus who just obssess everybody with this sin and other sin. The best way to make people good is to educate him, not grant a miracle to overcome or take advantage of other persons. Human society can do thousand times better than a queer and always-in-the-dark teacher. To compare many ways and we understand he just like a satan or a follower of satan to obssess and hinder our society to develop for a long time. In all, I always say Oh ...god but in the meaning of relaxation or enjoyment like reading name of a famous detector from a story book, or a harry porter. In our mordern life, with many things can be writen down so we know how a fiction character can be developed, but in accient times these fiction characters like god, angels ....have been coming and mingled in human mind to become real as at that time no book can record these stories like us now, and when a story can be developed by mounth from one person to another .. and many.... many generation, it will get real in for example a medieval book later. So we can understand god can come from far far in old history to remind us, but lacking no proof of god' miracle in mordern society now, because it cannot support strong proofs to record in a book, and no one can pass on such story as in old acient times. Mordern times has got a tendency to relax in his own creatives like science appliances, cinema, show biz, magazines, and curing in hospital, educate children in schools and develop career/ earning in the company so this is easy to understand role of god is fading away to replace with our human peaceful and democracy society for a superstition.

I'll say that when I'm really shocked. Just an expression, as far as I'm concerned.

Some do. It's a common expression.
BTW, there are many Christians who don't use it.
