It just happened to me, lol. Anyway I asked a question in reponse to what I though was an unfair atheist question. The atheist question was loaded, as many questions on here are.

The atheists skipped the main intent of my question and made me seem like the bad guy - which indeed was the purpose of their first question.

Tell me Christians, what is the lesson to be learnt here?

The Bible says that the FOOL has said in his heart that there is no God! Will you remain a fool? Or seek wisdom?

That many will fall victim to the wickedness of the Antichrist simply because they are looking for works of miracles, rather than trusting in the Lord God?

Do you think most Christians do this based on a genuine love and concern for their fellow men, because their Bible tells them to, or because they fear if they don't they won't reach Heaven?

They said that it originated from the wickens and that it was considered evil and that gils who wore it didn't know what they were getting into. WWE superstar Chris Benoit smothered his wife and 7-year-old child before hanging himself. He put a bible by his kid and wife. But of the wrestling community think it was roid-rage. If it was roid-rage, he wouldn't even think about what he was doing. He had no temper, but he had had roid-rage before in 2002 which caused a temporary restraing order and divorce from his wife. She eventually decided not to get divorced. Does he go to hell? I'm asking this in this section not the wrestling section because there is a war going on over this topic. Be honest.

I think that we could have the power to make this world a better place. How could we do that? If we were to act selflessly at all times, we would change the world. Do you think that people can love others more that they love themselves? How about treating everyone with love, even people who hurt you? We are so self-centered most of the time that we only concern ourselves with entertainment and comfort, when we should be making sure everyone has food and life's basic necessities. Have you ever heard the saying "a house divided against itself will fall"? If you think of all of humanity as one "house" you can see how we are divided against ourselves, right? How stupid are we to keep seeking only what we want for ourselves, when it is so obvious that we are really just hurting ourselves. We deny ourselves our greatest achievements by ignoring the needs of others and getting "more" for us. What do you think?

According to many of those who support homosexuality it seems it is not a conscious choice to have sex with someone of the same gender. They seem to feel that being attracted to someone not only justifies intimacy with them but is inevitable.

Since when are people incapable of choosing whether or not to follow their emotions and desires?

By that logic all sin is condoned.

Heterosexuals can get married in a church or a synagogue or wherever but unless they register their marriage as a civil marriage it is not recognised in law.

"Still other stories are based more solidly in fact: The patriarch of one old New Orleans family bought her a house when, by means of her powerful "gris-gris" (magic) and considerable influence, she succeeded in having his son acquitted of charges that he had "wronged" a young woman. She then cast a spell to make the same young man repent, fall in love and marry the women. If someone Marie Laveau wanted acquitted went to the gallows, the governor would pardon him before the trapdoor was sprung. Once at a double hanging, when no pardon was forthcoming, the blue sky clouded over with thunder and lightning and both of the ropes broke. (This really happened.)" Regarding Marie Laveau - Voodooieene in New Orleans.

If the Bible is taken as fact, why not stories like this as well?

If Jesus was a Jew, his appostles were Jews, and he stated, quite succintly in Matthew 5:17-20:

17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Why don't Christians follow Jewish Law?

I tried to put the lyrics on here but didn't have enough space, so look them up and tell me what you think. I think of it as a Christian song, saying what would you do if that person you were treating like dirt was God in disguise! Wouldn't that make you feel terrible? Anyway. I don't think that's the way the song was "supposed" to be interpreted but I was just curious to see what you all thought!

Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
What a man sow he shall reap. Do not not be deceived by those who tell you that evil is good and good is evil. You know what is right and what is not. They tell you that you can have your own powers and change your destiny and next you are doing things you swore you would never do and seeing horrible things. Is it too late to back down? It is never too late with God.
