Salam :) i'm a Muslim teen living in Canada. I positioned on hijab alhamdullilah and it rather is for the main area everyday right here on the grounds that i stay in a brilliant city with a substantial Muslim inhabitants. I do get the few ignorant comments and idiots at college nevertheless who ask stuff like "yo have been given a bomb under there hahaha". however the toughest area is being distinctive out of your pals. Being a Muslim, events, alcohol courting boys donning revealing clothing etc is haram, and mutually as i don't choose to try this besides, it rather is a touch awkward to could desire to describe why i don't do it to those who evaluate it purely a factor of being a youngster and its consumer-friendly to them. Muslims living in Muslim international locations even have it much less puzzling while it consists of setting up in. And with foodstuff it rather is a touch not consumer-friendly yet I constantly attempt to examine the label if i'm undecided of the factors. yet i does not wanna be the different faith no be counted how puzzling it gets and how distinctive i've got self assurance from everybody else, i'm happy to be Muslim :)

I stay in Indonesia
More than 80% indonesian are muslims, but Indonesia is not an Islam country
Indonesia doesn't use Islamic laws to manage the country. There is no issue about minorities in Indonesia, all of religion believers have the same right.

But there is a province that uses Islamic laws, it's Nangroe Aceh Darussalam. but I don't know how the government in there treat the minorities.

I am Palestinian. And yes, mainly the Islamic law is applied for the most of contracts stuffs but you know there is no Islamic nation at all in here that we can not call it as Islamic law especially in the case of Banks work, punishments,...etc
For the Christian and Palestinian Jews they have their own laws regarding marraige and faith matters..
Personally, if the laws in Saudi Arabia and Iran and other Islamic countries would be the " Islamic law" then I would not like to apply it in my country... I am always againt the way some so called Islamic countries abuse Islam teachings..
I believe that Islam is simple as we can understand this but usually people complicate things...

Peace!

I believe the shari`a law isn't well applied in Egypt. Yes it's a Muslim country, but u see so many negative things in daily life. Like drinking Alcohol is forbidden in Islam as u know, but in Egypt, people can drink as long as they're not drinking in the street. In Islam, if a man and a woman commit adultery, they should be stoned to death. In Egypt, the woman gets executed but the man is put in jail for 3 yrs. There are many other examples of such laws not being applied or practiced in Egypt. Rabena yehdi

I live in Saudi..and Islamic law is applied..
about the minorities, well Saudis should be more aware of Islamic teachings about the non-Muslims, because many are ignorant about it causing too many problems..
Minorities should be treated equally as the citizens.. that's what people over here should try to understand and apply

yeah, i live in the uae, and shari'a is applied over here..but the govt' here is pretty secular, and welcome anyone and anything as long as it isn't against their traditions, cultures and religious values..
well, the minorities issue is kind of complicated..should tyhey be given more preferrance or are they just the same as everyone else?i guess mostly, u'll just have to make sure that there are enough activities for everyone to participate in, and understand what they want, instead of playing the guessing game..sounds easy alright, but..?
