There is a way which seems right unto man, but in the end it leads to death.

It should follow that since I don't believe in god I certainly do not believe one word of the bible. I am not going to think myself a fool because some 2000 year old book says so. Your religion is thought control and you are sadly caught up in it. You will NEVER know what I think or how I feel because you will never let yourself, or maybe you are just unable to break free. I do not equate wisdom with your silly outdated religion.

You use a bible and an imaginary friend as a crutch to get around. Kill someone pray and heaven has a reserved spot for you mmm that makes you smart huh? How come believers do not entirely follow the bible if that's the case we should have people stoned to death for any reason as well as cut off body parts that causes us to sin... riiight in this day in age we have support programs and other methods that can help us with our problems.

Considering that I am smart, I would naturally be smart when I don't believe in god. I'm also smart when I decide to when shorts instead of jeans on a hot day and even when I eat my breakfast cereal. In other words, my intelligence isn't directly linked to that belief. The two just coexist.
And as I'm sure that others have mentioned this, but when you have an unsubstantiated belief you want people to take, it's hard to entice them intellectually. Therefore, it's more effective to resort to scare tactics and belittling of outsiders.

The Bible does *not* say that one must be a fool to be an atheist. That passage (which, by the way, is false) merely says that fools are a subset of atheists.
Never mind that you're appealing to an old book of myths that we do not believe in in the first place.

You're serious? Wow. You do realize that in the Bible a lot of people were killed *because* of God, right? And it tends to be that only fools believe in God.. They've never actually thought about it, because they've been brainwashed since the age of four..

The beginning of wisdom is to admit that you know nothing. Making unproven assumptions about the afterlife, the origin of the universe and the validity of an ancient book are hardly the right way to go.

Luckily I live in England where everyone is far too embarrassed to mention religion.
The only strong religious influence (meant to convert to or sustain the family religion) is from parents. Even then the secular attitudes often have a nicely diluting effect.

People who believe what is in the bible are fools. How do you know that any of that stuff is true. Your mind is weak because you are just believing in superstition. When you can prove it tell me. Until then stop judging other people because what a book of fairy tales says.

You'd have to believe the Bible in order to believe that statement.
I'm sorry, but I don't believe in a book written by a few guys sitting around smoking a hookah.

I'll remain a fool, thanks. Why do you believe the word of the bible? How do you know it's for real? You don't know there is a God anymore than I know there isn't, so stop getting all high and mighty.
