He certainly was exposed to christianity as a subject of the british empire. But he embraced the beliefs that were native to his own land, not his conquerers.

I do not believe in hell. If if there is a hell and Gandhi is there then I am glad that is where I will be as well.

If Gandi goes to Hell, well that sucks for the human race seeing as less than 1% of world is as good as he was. We are all judged according to the knowledge we receive whether in this life or the next. Even though he had that exposure, how well do you really think he understood it? I'm sure that he will have the opportunity in the next life to make the correct decision.

Lots of people get exposed to Christianity, however it depends on your immune system as to whether it affects you.

Since Hell in the NT was made up, I doubt Gandi would be there.

God only judges people and decides whether we go to heaven or to hell.
I believe Gandhi was a peaceful and wonderful person discarding what belief he had...
It is more important how we follow the righteous way but not following certain beliefs...

Peace!

Gandi is not in christian hell. I personally have more respect for the Hindu religion. How absurd to suggest this.

Just like anybody else, even a Christian, we have no way of knowing for certain. It's not our job to judge people, that's for God to do. All we can say is that he was not a Christian, but he certainly had good ideas to contribute, ideas that probably originated with God.

and I wouldn't want to be in a place that does not allow peace loving , beautiful people anyway

Of course not. There *is* no trash dump outside the walls of Jerusalem anymore ("Sheol") where executed criminals' bodies are dumped..

And in any case, Gandhi would never be dumped there.
