Ok I do NOT want to feel warm and fuzzy right now.. it's freakin hot here and our a/c is not working properly.
Generally, my religion makes me feel at peace, connected and whole. I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything.

I'm in between religions right now... I'm still searching for the right religion that I feel is the most believable and reliable.
Seriously - I've spent the past month reading about all these different religions, but none of them seem right!
So no, I don't really feel all that secure, with the *current* belief that when we die, our souls don't really go anywhere... what a waste. I also have the slight fear that if there is a one true religion, I could go to hell (or the hell equivalent) for not following it. But, I also feel quite content that I don't have to follow any 'rules', e.g. the 10 commandments, and just go by my conscience for the time being.

Humanism: The insane belief that people should be nice to each other.
Rationalism: The insane belief that you a should use your brain.
Free Thinking: The insane belief that you shouldn't believe everything you're told.
Atheism: The insane belief that grown people shouldn't believe in fair tales.
These beliefs are always comforting, but I choose an uncomfortable truth over a comforting lie.

Taoist - Connected, imperfect and a little bit lost. (Warm and fuzzy mostly only when I've had a glass of wine).
By which (since that may sound a bit odd and less than entirely positive!) I mean that I am aware that I'm part of 'everything', am conscious of changes I need to make in my life and most of the time I'm not quite certain about what I'm doing or where I'm 'going' but trust I'm 'getting there'.
Well, it works for me!

My belief is honour the higher energy, when I do that I get similar feelings to a shiver, like a channel moving through me acknowledging my honour of something greater than myself. Sometimes it is me I honour, but I only feel the strength when it is projected towords the creator. Twice the power for acknowladging someone elses chi. I generally feel really happy having faith in God, but when I talk to Christians and they talk about the human sacrifice and blood, I get uncomfortable. I guess faith in oneself says everything, Jesus is no more than a fairytale. My ex minister father in law will say the same thing, and that gives it credibility to me. :- )

Being an Atheist doesn't make me feel "Warm or fuzzy" because i live in the real world and i don't want the thin delusional veneer of Christianity to dull my senses to whats really happening.

my religion- no change that- my relationship with God through Christ is a reality- that gives me salvation, peace, joy and abundant life- about being happy and comfortable- not always- because God never promised that- He promised peace in the midst of times that are not happy and comfortable. Secure- absolutely- in the fact that I am loved and forgiven and saved- and that I have eternal life security- monetary security- no- but that is ok- because God provided all I need.

My faith gives me peace of mind, a hope for the future and the promise of seeing my mum in the resurrection and know we will never be parted again. It comforts me to Know how He promises me in Isaiah 41:10 just how much he cares for me now and supports me always.

My religion makes me at peace with myself and those around me. It levels my head and keeps the stress from overtaking me in diffcult times. It helps me to listen, and also to understand. My religion does a lot to enhance my life, but it does not rule my life, and I am happy for this aspect the most..
