There is no profit whatsoever if a man gains the whole world and loses his own soul. In fact, when I lived for my own gain, It was the most miserable time of my life. Only in a relationship with Jesus Christ, living for the cause of the Gospel, can a person have true fulfillment.
This life is a temporary assignment, we bring nothing into it, and we take nothing away with us. However, we each of us make a choice in this life, whether we accept Jesus Christ or reject Him.
People spend time in this life, planning for careers, holidays, retirement etc; and yet so many fail to plan for where they will spend eternity, which is the greatest decision of all.

A man who gains the whole world profits a great deal, especially since he has no soul to lose. If I had a soul and could sell it, I would exchange it for endless loving intimacy with the woman I love....Alas I have no soul to sell and so like most men, must beg, grovel and crawl on my belly in servitude to profit even a little from her attentions. At moments like these I wish God were real and I had a soul to sell to the devil for a little lovin'. An eternity in hell could not obliterate the memory of a lifetime of loving from the one I want. Sigh! Never can find the Devil when I want him...oh well back to grovelling....

In reply to one of the answers...as well as to this question...
I think it's really sad when someone spends so much of their life in a Private Christian School and says they have nothing to gain from it....Were they sleeping? The Word says to Train up a child in the way they are to go and when they are old they will not part from it!" So parent's PLEASE when your little ones are little Teach them what is good, what is of God..They will Need all the Help they can get....I sent my two kids to private Christian Schools as well as Public when we moved and they have been able to reach others for the Kingdom of God. They don't cram anything down someones throat, BUT if someone asks, at least they know how to answer them and not be judgemental on the decisions their friends make. Everyone is given a Choice, to serve one master, is it Christ or satan?
I don't believe it's too late to get the Lord into ones Life, He is Patient and Kind and like any other parent there for all who call upon His Mighty and Holy Name.....

Tis but a drop in teh bucket eh? God gave up on me and I gave up on God. I can see ghosts and the chruch told me I was being chased by demons. I do relaxtion and I like to use herbs for healing I was told I was a pagan.
so a fair question might be, Is it too late to challenge the christain faith???

Gullibility at its finest...
But I guess if you're dumb enough to fall for it, a bit of remote control via a book isn't a bad thing for you.
Carry on!
