"Believe what is written and pass this information along and good things will happen. Ignore this message and bad things will happen"

Fits the bill for both Christianity and a Chain Letter.

What's the difference between religion and superstition? There is none.

It’s like, you’re alive for one minute and capable of being forgiven and let into heaven and the next second it is eternal hell for you. Why do you believe that? That sounds absolutely insane when you think about it.

Why do those who riot in the streets call themselves muslims, when the Prophet (PBUH) himself wouldn't have done anything like this? How can they call themselves muslims when they don't een know what the Quran or Sunnah say? What is your opinion on this quote taken from the words of the Prophet (PBUH)?

""Give me advice," said someone. Muhammad said, Be not angry.""

This is why it's best to just ignore those who are only alive to cause anger. You let that control you. You need to tell yourself you will not give that, because you are better than that. Is it really so hard to be above somebody only looking to be of and cause destruction?

Did you know that a muslim is rewarded with Paradise for mourning the loss of a friend with dignity? By dignity, I mean by just shedding tears, not going all crazy like so many are? Yes, muslims can enter Paradise for mourning their friends who die.

What do you feel about this quote?

"The Apostle of God wept over Sad b. Ubadah. And he said, "Have not you heard that the Lord doth not punish on account of shedding tears, not from sobs of the heart from the afflicted?" He is not of the people of our way who slappeth his cheeks and teareth his collar, and mourneth like the mournings of Ignorance.

There is no reward but Paradise for a Muslim who suffereth with patience when the soul of his affectionate friend is taken"

OK, If you're Christian, what part of Christianity do you belong to - Roman Catholicism, Armenian Orthodox, Lutheran, etc. - and what makes its teachings and values different from all the other branches of Christianity? If you're not Christian, what religion (if any) do you follow and what branch of it do you belong to (if there are any branches of that religion)? Thanks!

in its basic form the story reports that mohammad longed to convert the people of mecca[who were after all his kinsmen to islam]. as he was reciting sara-al- najm[q; 53] considered a revelation by the angel gabriel. satan tempted him to utter the following lines after 19 and 20. have you thought the third the other]. here mohammad is talking about the moon god and his marriage to the allat the sun goddess and there daughters. these are the exalted sharang whose intercession is hoped for 22:52 is revealed to mohammad to comfort him. now if anybody tells you that the koran is the most prefect book is either on drugs or brainwashed.

The underlying principle is that genetic mutations do occur and can be passed on to offspring. But, is it reasonable to suppose that humans will continue to evolve over any length of time?

The problem I see is this: in order for humans to evolve as an entire race, the necessary genetic changes would have to occur in all humans that have children within a given generation, so that those changes can be passed on to the entire population of future generations. However, such a widespread genetic change affecting everyone the same way is very unlikely. There may be some who inherit certain mutations, but these individuals are just as likely to mate with other humans that didn't receive the genetic change. The end result is that isolated genetic mutations are not going to have much of an effect on the world's population as a whole.

If the same concept is applied to our ancestors, how likely is it that some descendants would become humans while others became apes?

I would really like to carry out a civil, polite and lengthy disccusion with someone about some of the topics on here. Anybody is free to email me and I welcome any questions thoughts, statements or observations. I hope to hear from you!

''And if you only could see when the Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) shall hang their heads before their Lord (saying): "Our Lord! We have now seen and heard, so send us back (to the world), we will do righteous good deeds. Verily! We now believe with certainty." (Qur'an 32:12)

'And as for those who are Fasiqun (disbelievers and disobedient to Allah), their abode will be the Fire, every time they wish to get away therefrom, they will be put back thereto, and it will be said to them: "Taste you the torment of the Fire which you used to deny." (Qur'an 32:20)
