Whenever a large group of individuals is being manipulated by a single individual, a small minority, or a doctrine created by either, they tend to exhibit three specific features:

1) They always claim their participation is of their own free will.
2) They always claim their doctrine is sacrosanct (& perfect.)
3) They always declare outsiders to be "the unenlightened", but they always welcome them to "join in."

A final feature is that on the occasions when people escape these social control mechanism, they always feel guilty for having participated, and they often make devoted efforts to "bring down" the aforementioned institutions in the future.

Look at all historically oppressive societies, groups, organizations, cults, and governments. They all possess these features. Now look at religions. What do you see?

Now think...

Isn't it possible - just possible - that the religion you believe in, the religion you are certain you follow of your own free will, is actually controlling you?

Why are the extremists ignoring the commands of the Quran and the Sunnah?

Here is one example:

"The greatest crimes are to associate another with God, to vex your father and mother, to murder your own species, to commit suicide, and to swear to lie."

Why won't they listen? And why are the leaders of the extremists telling them not to study Islam? Is it because then those who are would be extremists would know that their actions are against Islam, and are hurting all of the muslims of the world, not to mention the victims?

Did Jesus himself pray and recommend prayer?

Jesus is the universal deity?

God himself prayed to himself and separated the will of that God from his own?

I believe in God, and at the same time in some part of evolution. I believe that: Humans can evolve, for example change their skin color to adapt to the weather of a place.

Animals may change the contortion of their body, however I dont think that a fix evolved in a cat.

I believe even monkeys have somehow changed from the way they were in the past, not all, maybe just some.

what I dont believe is, that humans came from ape.
I don't believe that we were first apes then humans.

What do you believe or dont believe?

I don't know how everyone else feels but life is hell in a lot of ways.

To be constantly reborn back into life for eternity would be an interesting hell wouldn't it?

The interesting part is the fact we wouldn't ever even know it's happening, we'd be constantly waiting on something that never happens.

Did you know Islam says this same thing? What do you think of this quote?

"Abuse nobody, and if a man abuse thee, and lay upon a vice which he knoweth in thee; then do not disclose one which thou knowest in him."

Note: Read thoroughly. Before responding quickly, please, step away from your computer, walk around for a few minutes and let it bounce around inside your head. Give me a well thought out answer.

1) Is God timeless and did he exist before everything and will exist after everything? If you answered YES, then proceed to Question 2.

2) Why, in Genesis I:5 is God referred to as HE? Gender sets woman apart from man. Why does God have a gender if there wasn't any other gender to differentiate from because it did not yet exist?

(PS Genesis is the word of God. Don't give me the "mistranslation" argument.)

Hi. I'm 14 and for a little while I have been having this weird feeling in the area around my heart. It just feels like my heart is heavy and sort of sinking. It doesn't really hurt and I'm 14 so I don't think it's a heart attack. Also, it seems to feel funny to breathe real deeply and it worsens and night I think. Does anyone know if this is a sign of a heart disease or murmer or anything? Thanks in advance.

It is a one-on-one debate which my teacher will be filming and then awarding us marks and grades on how well we debate and howwe press ideas etc. I am saying that i exist and am real and my friend is saying that i do not exist and am not real. I need some points and pointers to help. Any ideas or suggestions to say that i do exist?

Any Contribution will be helpful.
