I don't know how everyone else feels but life is hell in a lot of ways.

To be constantly reborn back into life for eternity would be an interesting hell wouldn't it?

The interesting part is the fact we wouldn't ever even know it's happening, we'd be constantly waiting on something that never happens.

Interesting theory. The way I see it is that it doesn't matter if it is hell. We can make it better and indeed could make it a really fantastic planet if we put our heads together and did it. If I was in a heaven and knew others were here suffering, I'd be happy to be reborn to help 'em out.

I'm sure you know the spoon story. It does a decent job of explaining how I see life. Heaven or hell--it's up to you to create.

In case anyone has missed the spoon story:

A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said, "Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like."

The Lord led the holy man to two doors. He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in.

In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew which smelled delicious and made the holy man's mouth water.

But the people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful, but because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths. The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering. The Lord said, 'You have seen Hell.'

They then went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one. There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man's mouth water. The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking.

The holy man said, "I don’t understand."

"It is simple" said the Lord, "In this place the people have learned to feed one another."

A guy who asks a lot of questions would be an interesting guy to talk to.

Well, first, I don't think I'm in hell, although I certainly feel like it sometimes. Secondly I do remember bits of my past lives. But we do not get sent to hell in the next life. I don't believe in the Hindu's version of reincarnation. Life truly is what we make it. And right now, things are not the greatest, because we are coming to a climax for Armageddon. Armageddon will be adirect result of the evil of man. the ones who survive, will be the meek and noble minded- the ones who don't just simply go along with the idiots running the show right now.

Ever heard of the mark of the beast.

Great questions! Keep 'em coming. Also, check out MSN's Live qna. I'm naturegirl713. See you later. ;)

Life may feel like Hell because we live in a sinful world with evil in it.

But if someone goes to Hell after they die, they'll know it. It's a place of eternal, conscious torment.

I believe we not only remember our lives after we die... we are given a complete and perfect recollection of everything that ever occurred in this life. It is this that either creates heaven of hell for each of us individually. Hell is remembering all the terrible things you've done.... Heaven is reflecting on a life well spent.

I've thought of this many times. It could be this is the "hell" people talk about and heaven is on the other side when we die. I don't know that I would choose to come back, though, knowing it's "hell"; assuming reincarnation is true. I'd just soon stay up there where the love is.

How do you know that you are reborn back into life for eternity? First of all, you have to know for sure that this such a thing does happen. And to know for sure that it happens, you have to produce your proof or evidence.

If you don't have proof or evidence, then you are believing in something BLINDLY.

You are believing in conjecture.

Life after death is not real. The many explanations you hear about not remembering your prior life are made up to wipe away the many contradictions in the concept of heaven.

Most people say that when they get to Heaven they will see their parents and grandparents again. But their grandparents will be busy visiting with their grandparents, and so on, and so on, going back 10,000 years of generations. Not even the most magical omnipotent Being can handle the logistics of that heavenly mess.

Thats a very good preception. If hell was now, you still could make something out of yourselves to make the expereince better. The question then would be how far would you go?

I believe in a god of unconditional love that created our souls with free will (not humans) in his likeness. many souls could not bear to leave fathers side for the loss of love. many souls went out and returned to share their adventures. Some souls rebeled wanted to be a god themselves. This place (earth system) WAS CREATED FOR THE SOUL TO MAKE ITS FINAL CHOICE. Do they really want to be a "little God and live in dominion=lordship over others. or return to father of love/fellowship/joy/sharing/ab... bliss.

What if heaven and hell are exactly the same except for one difference? What ever you picture in your head heaven to be, imagine hell to be the same except for one difference. Everything you can do in heaven you can do in hell except for one difference. The difference is love or dominion. If you choose love you are in heaven, you are sharing love/joy/fellowship, absolute bliss in all you do.

If you choose dominion you are in hell, everyone will be dominion bent, acting without regard to anything but personal pleasure, personal gain, exercising power over others. Everyman for himself in all that is done. Everything else is the same.

Now which path do/will you choose? LOVE or DOMINION

Doesn't hell feel a lot like earth?
