If your answer is "No", well consider this:

All is as it should be. Yeah, sure, there's lots of death, discomfort, and deformity, but if we were willing to work together and fix it, there wouldn't be any. Sure, GOD made Malaria... but he made Quinine, too. This might come as a surprise to you, but Homelessness, Starvation, and Child Neglect ARE cureable!! WOAH!! Where'd that come from??
The Universe is imperfect because that's all these Hellions deserve. If you want it better, make it better. GOD has left us tthe means. If we choose to ignore that FOR WHATEVER THE REASON, then we as a race deserve what we get. What? You don't like living on a planet where some deformed boy is? Fix it. Sure, it might take a revolution. Millions of hired goons might die. But at least we can start using all of the wonderful provisions that GOD left here for us.

She doesn't believe me. She says that no one can not believe in god, they can just not believe in organized religion. Should I just ignore her or confront her? And should I tell my mom?
My family's protestant and we've never really been religious so I think they should accept me but how should I tell them if I should?

On the one hand, we see the worst mass-murder in world history SINCE Pol Pot slaughtering tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis, and **wasting** the lives of thousands of our own soldiers. For NOTHING.

On the other hand, we have Bush's continual string of vetoes of bills that would expand valuable embryonic stem cell research that could hugely benefit millions of people.

Is this paradoxical -- or is it weirdly logical...?

If people could also explain their answer, that would be great. Thanks.

But I have to say I would have probably have tried to stone Jesus too. I mean the man rolls in from no where and says I and God are one....if you knew him you would know me etc etc. Am I wrong to say I wouldn't know why anyone would believe him until he started healing people?

Where did this God come from, and are there other gods like him? Does the god ladder ever stop or are we in a matrix?

Read the quote first. What do you think about it?

"Wish not for death any of you; neither the doer of good works, for peradventure he may increase them by an increase of life; nor the offender, for perhaps he may obtain the forgiveness of God by repentance. Wish not, nor supplicate for death before its time cometh; for verily when ye die, hope is out and the ambition for reward: and verily, the increase of a Mumins' (Muslim's) life increaseth his good works."

Do you feel we are absolutely meaningless after death? Do you feel that if we were not a celebrity, or that if we didn't do something important to the world we were a failure? Or that if you took a life that there would be no punishment for your actions? Or that when we die we eventually are forgotten and never made a difference? We all have a use, and this is our training. Think about that.

Why do so many people think that every single muslim in every part of the world hates every single jew in every part of the world? So what, Palestine and Israel are what represents us all? Ahh, gimme a break!

What do you think of this quote?

"And behold! a bier passed by Muhammad, and he stood up; and it was said to him, "This is the bier of a Jew." He said, "Was it not the holder of a soul, from which we should take example and fear?"

Do not speak ill of the dead.

When the bier of anyone passeth by thee, whether Jew, Christian, or Muslim, rise to thy feet.""
