You are getting alot of variety in your answers, because there are many items called Eye of God. There is an email chain letter going around, which shows a doctored photo of the helix nebula, claiming it is the Eye of God, and attributing miracles to it. There are many amulets that are called Eye of God. Some are glass beads, with a white circle with a black dot on it. There is a southwestern amulet called Eye of God, or Ojo De Dios, and that is a diamond shape, with different colors of thread woven on a cross of sticks to make the shape. There are pocket stones carved in an eye shape. There is the Egyptian amulet known as the Eye of Horus. Any amulet in an eye shape, or with a natural formation that people could view as resembling an eye, is a protective amulet, invoking God to watch over you. There is the "All seeing eye of God" on the back of the dollar bill, which is a Masonic idea. I am not sure of the exact definition attibuted to it by the Masons, but the term "All Seeing" before Eye of God, infers not only a protective element over the US, but the idea that God is omniscient, knows all, and sees all......

I'm not religious- but here is my best shot.

If someone were to say the "Judge me by the eye of god (the gods)" i would translate this into " i am being judged naked". No lies, deceptions or misconceptions would be in play- i am being judged for who i am, what i have done and what i believe in life.

To my mind, the eye of god is all seeing and al knowing, that can penetrate both mind and body, and if there be such a thing- the soul

The eye of god is just that- an eye that can see you for what you truly are. No fakes, no smoke screens or deceptions that might work on man.

God undoubtedly has eyes as He made man in His own image but the only eye I can think of which some 'religions' refer to is the eye of horus which is 'lucifers eye'...It belongs to the devil. It can be found on the back of an American one dollar bill at the top of a pyramid. The back of the one dollar note is full of 'masonic' reference and lucifer is one of their gods.......the seals that print the back of the bill were collected by Thomas Jefferson from the 'Illuminati'...an elite group of people who wish to take over the world...and believe me are doing so as we speak. The masonic dividers can be seen from the air over Washington DC...one point is on Jeffersons statue and the other on the White House....does that tell you anything. Also on the map of Washington DC there is a formation built to represent the star that holds the goat of mendes..............all interesting stuff eh?
The freemasons also run the Mormon Church............
If you want any more information on this...just google "Barry Smith evangelist New Zealand" and you can order CDs and videos of his talks on the subject on the website........very enlightening stuff. Unfortunately Barry died in England in 2002
Best wishes, Mike.

It is that thing from summer camp that you make with yarn and two Popsicle sticks!

EDIT: In response to georgiansilver: Don't forget, we also own the Jews, faked the moon landing, and have a secret hideout under the Denver airport. WE also own and manage all the other groups out there from the Illuminati to Skull and Bones to the New York Yankees.

Er, it's nothing religious if that helps!

No, seriously, it's a Nebula, that once every 3000 years has an image that looks just like an blue eye. You'll find it if you poke around on google.

The best pictures have come from the Hubble space telescope.

Well, you have an eye, I have an eye, and so do MOST of the people in this word. and I am terribly sorry for those who don't. they can't see God's Creations. God's eye can just see all. ours can only see what's in front of out face.
