How can you have good morals if you have no heart in them but to think you have good morals? You can feed the homeless, rescue a drowning baby, and give up a part of your liver for someone who needs it. Life is speaking blessings to another, life is sharing the word of God to someone, you do not know the hour of any ones death, but if you share the word of GOD and help save a soul, God is pleased becasue you are speaking life into that persons life. He knows the mens hearts of this world,nothing comes good from them. I am not saying to not do good deeds for people but it is better to have the word of God in your heart, so when you do good deeds you can share the word of God to help save a soul who might not be here tommrow or a few mintues from now. As the Lord says, every knee shall bow to me!

Of course you're free to do as you please.. our laws even guarantees it. But, this laws also tells us that we cannot use this freedom to intrude into other peoples rights.
It's not cool just to 'believe' in God. Even the devil believes in God anf he's still doomed. You have to obey God too.
For me, a God fearing person will have more chances to having good morals.

It's better to have good morals, simply because I'd rather people remember me as a good person who did the right thing, then as a bad or even evil person who just said sorry to the big Magical Man floating on the clouds.

Simple belief is not enough.
James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
You must also obey God's laws.
Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? Heaven Forbid!!!
If we continue in willfull sin ,It is NOT cool!

If you believe in God, and you believe that God has this amazing unconditional love for you, why would you choose to behave badly? If you consistently make those choices then you might want to examine your faith a little bit.
If you love someone, you don't want to disappoint them. How much more is that so with faith!

Erm, no. You cannot do just as you please; and asking for forgiveness won't work unless you are truly sorry.
There are people who believe in God AND have good morals. So it is not necessarily mutually exclusive.

According to many Christian based religions, yes, you can be a horrible person, but as long as you accept Jesus, you go Heaven.
Your good deed are as "filthy rags" to the Lord.
I think that's a little unfair, m'self.
I DO think morals, good deeds, and being a nice person DO count. :)
