I enjoyed learning about the Mayans. There are a lot of similarities between their ideas and the ones of other religions and it makes me wonder why and how.

Then why is it that there are so many different views about it. Obviously there was some miscommunication somewhere down the line. Maybe the jews are right, maybe The muslims are right maybe we're all wrong and that homeless guy that says that God is a fish in the hudson river is right.

It's a muslim kindergarden graduation ceremony. Watch it till the end and read the translation of the chants, especially the last one where the kid asks what their "loftiest aspiration is".
Honestly, this is scarier than Jesus Camp if you can believe that...

He was apparently second to God wasn't he? I'd think he'd be pretty good at making us think we're doing the right things when we're not.

The roadway to hell is paved with the best of intentions. What does this mean exactly?

or now, Baptizes "to fulfill all righteousness". That would have been as meaningless then as it is today.

Why are you Atheists? This is not a hate or discrimination question I just want to know what has happened in your life that has made you want to be Atheist? What do you think happens to you when you die? And, I know that everyone has had those weird moments when something happens that can not be explained...what do you think caused them? One more thing: do you believe in Karma or anything such as 3 fold, goes around comes around ect. ect.?

Do you think maybe the dinosaur bones of ancient was acually dragons which people have written about seeing and slaying not so long ago? That could possibly mean that the scientific theory of" the age of the dinosaur" was made to discredit the truth of the bible.

I mean, what a stupid religion you guys have!

You don't even believe in God, or an afterlife, or anything supernatural like that! It's silly! How can it be a proper religion if you don't have any of that?!

You athiests might as well NOT HAVE any religion.

The only book you have is The God Delusion, and that isn't a proper religious book, because the bible is thousands of years old, and that makes it a proper religious book. Richard Dawkins wasn't inspired by God to write it, heck, he doesn't even believe in God, so how could it be religious ???

Why don't you guys get a real religion?

I think is evil. I understand that those who joined are left destitute with huge debts. According to a friend of mine, the first course may cost you. let say $10 dollars. But the following ones $25, $50, $75, $100, $250...etc., etc..until it reaches $10,000 dollars. [Idiots like Cruise and Travolta are loaded of money, they can pay such sums] A religion like that deserves my scorn. And I am not afraid of them. What do you think?

A famous experiment was carried out by Young in which electrons were fired into a surface (google it!). All was well... until the results changed by simply OBSERVING the electrons!

How can being an observer change the results of an experiment? When it comes to the quantum level (ie really, really small) the laws of physics break down. Our current theories work fine... except when applied to atoms themselves! Does this mean God is deliberately defying science? Are we being told to 'back off'?
