Talk to your fiancee's Priest - and get enrolled in RCIA classes at his parish.

+ Marriage +

If your fiance is already Catholic then you do not need to convert to get married in the Catholic Church.

The Catholic Church allows marriage between Catholics and non-Catholics.

Because the Church recognizes the tremendous challenge that the interfaith couple will face, they may have to get permission from the bishop.

+ Becoming a Catholic +

If you are interested in joining or just learning more about the Catholic Church, contact your local parish and ask about information about their RCIA Inquiry group.

You can go and ask any questions you want.

This is the first step in RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) but you can stop at any time.

There is no obligation to become a Catholic.

+ With love and prayers in Christ.

You do NOT need to convert to Catholicism to marry a Catholic.

It makes life easier- makes your marriage stronger- BUT IT IS NOT REQUIRED!!!!

Your fiance must promise to raise the children as Catholics, you acknowledge that promise. You must attend marriage preparation classes through the Church.

If you do WANT to become Catholic- and please DO NOT CONVERT if it is not what YOU WANT.....go to the priest and ask about RCIA classes. You will learn everything there!

No you don't, so long as one of you is Catholic. You just can't have a full mass and have to promise the church to raise your children as Catholics. Why would you want to have a full mass anyway? Thats only for very dedicated Catholics since its about 2 hours long. if you're not Catholic, why bother? Its just a building.

You do not need to be a Catholic to marry another Catholic in their chapel.

you dont have to BECOME catholic to get married in the Church, you just have to take some classes teaching about the Church..basically so you know and understand what your husband and kids will be practicing..but i think its the same classes that the people who are going to become Catholic take..(RCIA)...just talk to the priest though and ask him about it.

If both parties share the same faith it is of great value to marriage. I assume from your post that your fiancee is Catholic. Why don't you work toward the goal together? Go to speak with the priest together and find out what you need to do next.

God bless you and welcome into the Church.

speak to your priest at the closest Catholic Church. Call the office and the person who answers the phone will even be able to tell you

First you need to be married to Christ.

Jesus Christ paid for your Sins and mine. He said that He is the only way to God. Why would you seek to build a life based upon your own ideas and that of Traditions like the Catholic one?

Think for yourself. Do not just flow along in life. Study the Bible and understand that unless you repent of your sins then Jesus Christ cannot save you, God will not be your Spiritual Father, your prayers will be useless, and your life will be lived in vain.
