Sure it is.
Try this experiment: Pour gasoline on yourself, light a match and know that God will protect you.
(dont really do that)

Let me offer this as an example.
You need a liver transplant.
Your church tells you that if you have "faith" and pray, God will heal you. Even Jesus said that if you have faith as a mustard seed, nothing is impossible to you. Then "whatever you may ask in My name, you will receive", so you can have just a TEENY bit of faith and--if you ask-- then God will heal you.
"Reason" tells you to get your butt to a doctor.
Which of the two do you think is the superior here, faith or reason?

That depends on what you have faith in. Do you have faith in God? Yes this faith is superior to reason, because it is partly through reason that intelligent humans come to faith. All resonable evidence points to the existence of God . It is therefore reasonable to believe in God and thereby you have a resonable faith. Once you know who God is, and have a personal relationship with him, then it is no longer just reasonable but your faith becomes vital reality with God..
Now this is what God calls faith !!!!
Hebrews 11:1-3 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Yes it is like between Heaven and Hell !
One is from Above and the other from below.
One is the Tree of Life and the other the Tree of Death(knowledge)
Faith is not education from men but God's
Reasoning is education from men.
Faith talk about the True REality of things when all the temporal earthly structures falls away-only what is of faithe remains
Reasoning cannot see the spirtual and supernatural Reality realm but only the mundane and seeable world.
I can go on and on but suffice to says that Faith operates in God's Kingom and reason operates in satan's world

No. Nor is reason superior to faith. Both of them are equal, in my opinion...though I personally support reason more than faith, someone just as smart as I am may support faith more than reason.

Reason depends on faith. A person who has faith in religion will find reason in their religion while a person who has faith in science will find reason in their science. It all depends on your point of view so what is completly rational and logical to one person would seem completely insane to another.

Faith goes beyond Reason.
That doesn't mean that faith is unreasonable.
To hold that something improbable may happen,
might be considered unreasonable, like winning the Lottery.
Indeed, that would be wishful thinking, based on nothing.
But believing the promises of Christ is not wishful thinking.
We have already seen how he fulfilled all the promises,
previously given to God's people, and his own prophecies.
So if we accept him as our Lord & Savior, he will save us.
If the atheists are right, we will never know.
But if we who believe in Christ, are right,
they will have eternity to regret their disbelief.
But be of good cheer, God is merciful.

That's like comparing apples to oranges.
Both faith and reason have a place in
creation. Neither can do the other's job.

Consider. Reason has not solved the planet's problems. We repeat ourselves. War, greed, superiority, my reasoning over yours. Your reasoning over mine. Bush's reasoning over who ever. Faith in itself-no. But faith in a higher energy and intelligence over our little intellectual dimension. I would say so.

No; apples to oranges comparison. Faith and reason are not necessarily mutually exclusive. Just the fundies on both sides want you to think that way.
