Do you think maybe the dinosaur bones of ancient was acually dragons which people have written about seeing and slaying not so long ago? That could possibly mean that the scientific theory of" the age of the dinosaur" was made to discredit the truth of the bible.

Yes not as old, Yes actually dragons ,and Yes another evolutionary lie. Man and dinosaur have inhabited the planet at the same time. How else did the footprints of both show up in limestone at Glen Rose Texas?

In the book of Job Chapter 40 check this out

Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.
His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron. He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him. Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play. He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens. The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about. Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth. Job 40: Verses 15-23

Sounds like a dinosaur to me! Milllions of years ago? Not even !!! The Bible creation account is truth. Evolution is a lie. A big , behemoth lie ... God Bless Cap'n Arlo

I have encountered this line of reasoning from what I would refer to as "born-againers".

However, you (and them) would do better to simply state that you believed that the science behind carbon dating was wrong, and then provide some plausible reason as to why you believed this other than to simply state that it was "all made up".

However, I realize that this becomes a problem when you are simply repeating something that someone else told you who you consider to be "an authority".

While I have no problem with considering just about any possibility, I would be more inclined to believe that the stories about dragons, giants and other 'beasts' have a higher probability of having been made up than I do that the scientifically based atomic half-life decay method of "carbon dating" was made up just to discredit the truth of the bible.

Do I believe that science makes mistakes and are subject to fraud and deceipt? Absolutely, and most of their mistakes are conclusions they make when either conducting experiments, and when collecting or interpreting data; and most frauds and deceptions are 'outed' by 'the competition'.

Now, I must admit that I have encountered a few explanations of how the "dragons and giants" that are spoken of in myth (and even some uncannonized scriptures) may have had some truth in their basis--however, there still remains no evidence and no way to prove or disprove it.

Regards,

Now why would God, who gives us the power to reason,
play such a trick on humanity? Oh, I know, the devil did it.
What if DNA proves the theory of evolution?
Maybe the universe isn't really expanding either.
Perhaps we are just imagining that Black Holes exist.

We believe in a loving creator, who made all things well.
There is nothing we can discover which does not reveal God.
Even if there is intelligent life elsewhere in the universe.
Everything was made for the purpose of a loving God.
Now we see through a glass darkly,
one day we shall behold Him face to face.

Meteorite. I basically sell it to a museum end of tale. If it have been a dinosaur bone or gold coin i may well be innundated with Palientologists and treasure seekers combing my land disrupting my sources. additionally dinosaur bones and gold money may well be considered sources of the crown and that i wouldn't get something for it. human beings understand that one metorite in somebody's backyard does not recommend there'll be any extra to look for.

Evolution was promoted to discredit the truth of the Bible, so why not the age of dinosaur bones. Why not Copernicanism also. Only 2 religions, i.e. God or man.

Just out of curiousity how do dinosaurs being 35 millions years old even affect that humans were made 6,000 years ago?

He didnt create the earth again, it was already there, just everything was dead. It brought it all back to life.

*update* sorry I had to sneak out of my room to bury a bone 1000 feet deep. Only took me 5 minutes to petrify it in the microway.

The bible does a great job of discrediting itslef with no help (I'm still a Jesus guy. I just ignore what I don't like) As for Dragons... I slew a dragon last week. Give him an all-time kicking I did. I hope PETA doesn't bust my b@lls over this.

I agree with Kevin. All you have to back up your claim is a book that not everyone believes in. Science has the carbon dating, the bones, the labs, etc. etc. Besides you honestly think we humans would last long with creatures like T-Rex roaming around?

lol
no, not really.
although the new "creation museum" in Kentucky does have a dinosaur with a saddle on it....I suppose to insinuate that people used to ride friendly dinosaurs.

probably not... because the age of the dinosaurs is backed up by evidence, and not just based on what was written in a book with no physical evidence to back it up.
