We don't really know the total answer to that question. Many things happen that are not explained in scripture or anywhere else such as natural disasters, car accidents etc. Many of the bad things that happen are in part at least due to the fact that man is sinful and behaves in a way that plays a primary role in what happens. For example, if a person gets drunk and drives his car into a carload of teenagers resulting in the death of several young people, we have to admit that the fault lies with the person who made the choice to drink and drive. If a person gets AIDS through a means other than a fouled up blood transfusion, we have to admit once again that a choice they or someone else made put them in this precarious situation. So, at least a large portion of the suffering that goes on in the world is due to man's own actions in one way or another. But as to natural disasters, we do not know why some will suffer and others will be spared.

everything happens exactly as it is supposed to happen. God gives us a certain amount of free will but, if we would listen to him instead of our own voices we would be much better off. I understand suffering more than most people i know. suffering doesnt only come from being sick it also comes from losses of different kinds but other than being sick the only loss i think that really causes suffering is the loss of a loved one namely that of a child. we are not supposed to bury our children although i have done so at almost 12 years old. i have to believe that God is not a liar and knows what is best for me and for my child that was His first. Suffering builds character and prepares us for greater things in God's kingdom. I dont know the answer truthfully i dont believe anyone does but I do believe God doesnt make mistakes and he is soverign over all

When Adam and Eve sinned against God, God cursed both man and His creation. The result is suffering. But there is hope, because God sent His Son into the world to die for our sins, and there will come a time when God will create a new heaven and earth, where there will be no more suffering!

Because Adam and Eve sinned we now have suffering in the world. Plain and simple-they made us have a world with suffering. Read your Bible it could help you answer this question.

The inherent weakness of man (ego and selfishness) causes him to listen to the forces of the darkness out in the world more than the God within. The choice invites disharmony and conflict which is the beginning of all suffering

Because people are greedy and think only of themselves. They'll hurt anyone or anything to get what they want. Also, because people make the wrong choices and peoples inability to solve mans indifferences. People are so different in belief there is conflict. There is a God.

I believe it is not so much because of sin, but rather our attachment to sin that causes suffering. We cling to our vices (and to lots of other 'non-vicey' things), because we think they make us happy. But they don't. They eventually go away and leave us once again to suffer.

One of the works of Christ, is to assign purpose, to tragedy. Find suffering that is close to you, and try to make something good come from it. Without that effort, and the support of God in your efforts, there is little purpose to suffering.

When Jesus healed a blind man, he was making something good, out of something bad. And for this, he was condemned.

Two reasons
1-- natural disasters, been here since the world began and
will always remain.

2-- sinful nature of man.

None of these are God's fault
